Is it that time already? It's either the stopped clock syndrome or it is snowing in Hell...
I have to say this is surprising... as much as I support Bush, I have to say he's been a disappointment when it comes to the subject of immigration.
Especially when treating illegal immigration as a national security issue.
The Dems are going to win political points if they are seen as protecting the Nation from Mexico's military invasion, Islamic infiltration, and virtually total lack of immigration control at the border.
What is your plan, Mr. President?
I completely agree with you... 110%.
I try to point out that exact point to people when I post ariticles about his popularity rating. But they always come back to me with the point, "Oh, I guess he won't be elected again in 2008." Or they just completely dismiss any poll as liberal propaganda that has Bush at 40%.
Voters when the go to vote will be thinking about Iraq, Katrina and Bush....
Well I guess our versions of "tough on illegal immigration" is different. I have a zero tolerance policy on it, and make sure the ones already here go home.
Our versions of tough on illegals is about the same. Wall/military, interior enforcement and deportation and no amnesty.
I was merely commenting that Difi is tougher on the issue than her counterparts. BTW, you couldn't pay me to vote for her.
"...except that when we're done, I think we should also build a fence around her."
LOL! Thanks for my first belly-laugh of the day. :)
are you kidding.
Did you see the house vote on illegals.
No dems supported it to build a fence.
I am sick and tired of the buchanites that are going to elect pelosi.
Feinstein wants amnesty for all the illegals here.
Howard Dean wants full amnesty.
The dems bashed alito in the hearings because he deported illegals.
Look at the vote in the house and almost no dems voted for the border bill.
I am sick and tired of the buchanhanites who are clueless.
It appears that Feinstein is sitting on a fence.
This seems like the poitical cover Arnold could use in Cal. to get out in front of this issue.
But they have no power.
The Executive Branch is refusing to enforce the laws already on the books.
