I wasn't naming a ticket - only that I like Guiliani and Romney as Presidential candidates. Put Allen or Cornyn on the ticket. Let's leave out Rice because she's not running.

I am willing to be persuaded to your point of view, but here's my thinking.

Judicial activism is number two in my book to terrorism. I am firmly convinced Romney has good social conservative makeup - yes of course he's made compromises. He's a terrific executive and leader who understands what government is for. Definitely understands judicial activism. I think he's electable.

Guiliani is competent, good on terror. I think his being a way-out liberal is exaggerated.

Rudy Giuliani has great appeal simply by being able to keep an (R) in the White House.

I don't know enough about Swann but if I have to pick a football Hall of Famer right now to be PENCE's VP I would go with Steve Largent. We'll see how Swann does

PENCE/LARGENT

"Agreed, there are some who haven't publicly declared yet."

No more illegal alien supporters; no more CFR supporters; no more NWO/Integrated Americas supporters; no more entitlement expanders; no more stupid education bills; no more affirmative action enthusiasts; no more big spending/big government RINOs.

If I get any of these this time around, it's a no go.

Allen.

His record on "life" vs. "pro-abortion" legislation is for life. In addition, his belief in a strong defense, his understanding that reducing the government's "taking" through tax cutting measures and his trust in America's free enterprise system commend him.

According to his Senate web site bio, his political heroes are Jefferson and Reagan. If he can articulate and defend the principles they advocated, then America's youth need his communications skills and leadership.

Allen/Rice - likely a strong ticket.

He didn't forget Mitt. As Mitt gains in popularity some folks within the GOP will not just forget Mitt, they will begin the process of questioning his traditions and background.

The campaigning for the nomination has already begun and the MSM has not yet begun the reporting of the various candidates except for McCain and Hillary. It is no wonder they are most often mentioned as the likely candidates.
