Who is your favorite Republican for President in 2008?
George Allen
Bill Frist
Newt Gingrich
Rudy Giuliani
John McCain
Mike Pence
Condoleezza Rice
Rick Santorum
Tom Tancredo
Undecided/Other
George Allen
With Undecided/Other in 3rd place in both Coomposite and Member, maybe you ought to have a write-in space.
Freepers undecided? That'll be the day ;)
None of the above.
Kind of curious why the Hate Everyone crowd things the system would be any different with "New blood"? Simply voting for someone based on "cause they aren't the Establishment" is dumb politics. Be prepared to be politically irrelevant for the rest of your life. Politics is about what is DOABLE, not what we WISH for. Nothing in life is perfect. NO ONE Is ever going to agree 100% of the time. Demanding Ideological purity means you will end up on the sidelines whining instead of actually having a seat at the table.
People make compromises every day. For example, do you bite your tongue or tell your boss what an idiot he REALLY is? Amazing how people who make those kind of compromises day in and day out, suddenly demand iron clad perfection from the political leaders. Just not very rational.
Allen / Rice '08!
Hmm...rather than saying undecided, I'll go with Pence.
I support Sen. Allen, and I hope that his running mate will be ex-U.S. Rep. Jennifer Dunn, of Washington.
Undecided although the missus has her heart set on John McCain. He will pull a strong female vote I think.
I think it was Code of Silence, starring Chuck Norris.
Good choice, did you hear about Pence's speech this weekend. Heard it was the best speech at CPAC. I think Pence has momentum
Allen/Rice
I agree with your reasoning. I'd also point out that her political views tend to the moderate on enough issues that she'd be a poor pick for the #1 slot.
My only reservation with pairing her with Allen is the fact that I don't know if George Allen will be able to use her effectively. Perhaps someone can enlighten me on his management style, but if he's a freakishly over controlling, micromanager, he may not allow his Vice President the powers and scope of responsibility that he might allow his Secretary of State... And if that is the case, I'd suggest that she remain as a cabinet member or advisor, rather than becoming Vice President.
She is a smart and capable woman. It would be a shame to have her win the Vice Presidency, only to have her languish in the twilight zone with no responsibilities on which to apply her experience and skills.
Giuliani/Pence
Romney/Pence
McCain/Pence
Basically somebody who can beat Hillary with Pence as VP. If Hillary doesn't get the nomination then:
Pence/Allen
Pence/Rice
Allen/Pence
LOL
Mr. Tom Tancredo.
That's exactly who I want, but he's already said that he is not going to run; sadly.
Well, if you still believe in the Statue of Liberty and what America stands for then you should seriously look at Mike Pence for president. True heir to Reagan!
How about Blackwell/Rice. That would be a pretty dificult ticket for the MSM to cover.
Maybe so, I do remember watching it. The scene was GREAT!
