McClellan has more patience in his little finger than I have in my whole body- I think I would be bringiing a mace to these media whores by now
I would have told them, "You weren't told because the vice president hates your freaking guts. He wouldn't tell you if your hair was on fire."
I have some questions about this incident:
Did Mr. Whittington save his shell riddled shirt so he could prove Cheney Shot him, if the need arose?
Does Mr. Cheney's Shotgun have distinguishing characteristics that Mr. Whittington can identify?
Did Mr. Cheney actually say, "I did not go hunting with that man... Mr. Whittington"
Is it true there's a list of men that claim Mr. Cheney shot them too?
Did Mr. Cheney really shoot Mr. Whittington if he was aiming for someting else?
What is the definition of Shooting, anyway?
Wasn't this just a private expedition between two consenting adults?
Isn't it time we all just moved on?
I think I'd be bringing a flamer thrower laced with anthrax.
Some stupid media boobs reporting Cheney hit him with *buckshot* rather than bird pellet. Buckshot reserved for Kennedy Clinton hunting trips!
And more patience than the doctors had! LOL.
Bird shot would be a better choice to shoot the media whores with. It sprays more territory than mace does. ;-)
If I was McClellan, I'd walk out to the podium with a 12 gauge, lean it against the dais stand and say "Are there any more insanely stupid questions? No? Good. (While ignoring their howls, screams and inquisition-type questions) Now let's move on to some important issues.
Actually a can of pepper spray would be my suggestion.
Some on this board don't seem to understand the different roles we all play in the advancement of conservatism. Many of us here are firebrands; I shouted and marched in the 2000 re-count fiasco down here in South Florida...but the role of WH Press Secretary is markedly different. Joe and Jane SixPack, who watch the news only occasionally or pay attention parenthetically to politics, don't want to see a "firebrand" up there.
Most people view the press the same way we do--pompous asses. If McLellan were to be hateful back, that would register poorly with the regular folk.
Patience is a virtue but I think I would have called that press conference to conclusion long before it was. Those reporters were acting like little children. I have never seen such ignorance and rudeness exhibited to the public. These reporters better grow up. No one needs to inform them of anything least of all the Vice President of the United States.
might as well bring a raw rib roast and throw it in the middle of the pack of wild dogs, but then again helen thomas might end up more undead than she already is.
"...I would be bringiing a mace to these media whores by now"

They - media whores - are insane...certifiably so. (My apologies to whores)
