McClellan has more patience in his little finger than I have in my whole body- I think I would be bringiing a mace to these media whores by now
" ...whether an average citizen would have been afforded the same amount of time."
The VP of the US is not an average citizen. AND he is accompanied by a 'police' force.
idiots.
So take THAT Davis Gregory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just read on another message board that the man who was shot had a heart attack. I'm trying to find out if it's true.
Until the guy dies from it (something about a pellet in his heart now) or some hosptial induced bacterial infection......
So he was cleared but the story is still all these alleged "irregularities." It's sickening when the press creates a story. The "delay" story on this is similar to the extra 5 minutes or whatever it was the president spent in that classroom on 9/11. A craven wild effort to make a story out of zip.
Another bogus scandal in a long line bogus scandals blows up in the left's faces.
WOW!! WHO KNOWS?!?!? MAYBE WE SHOULD ASK TED KENNEDY IF CHENEY WAS WRONG IN WAITING!!!!!!!!!! LIKE, CHENEY DIDN'T LEAVE THE GUY ON THE GROUND TO BLEED TO DEATH WHILE HE FIGURED A WAY OUT OF IT!! SURELY TED CAN TELL US HOW TO HANDLE THIS. CHENEY SHOULD HIRE TED IMMEDIATELY TO GUIDE HIM THROUGH THIS MESS!!
McClellan Takes Aim at Cheney [Actual headline]
After a not-entirely-successful effort on Monday to explain the vice president's hunting accident, press secretary Scott McClellan reloaded this morning and took aim at Dick Cheney himself.
President Bush, he announced, would be on the South Lawn with the national champion University of Texas football team. "The orange they're wearing is not because they are concerned that the vice president will be there," he deadpanned.
The reporters, so recently his tormenters, guffawed. "Although," he continued, pointing to his orange tie, "that's why I'm wearing it, so hopefully none of y'all will --''
If McClellan finished that thought, it was lost in more laughter. But the goodwill ended quickly.
Terry Hunt of the AP wanted to know if President Bush has spoken with the shooting victim (he hasn't) and how often Cheney goes hunting ("on a fairly frequent basis.") CBS's Bill Plante asked if Cheney's office would be providing a fuller account of what happened over the weekend. "I think we pretty much covered it all yesterday," McClellan said.

Takes aim? A little joshing is "taking aim"? The WashPost is desperate to turn this nothing story into the crime of the century. And why, pray tell, should Bush speak with Mr. Whittington? The MSM has gone stark raving mad.
Good news.....you mean he may be allowed to live?
I am glad to hear that.
So many keep accusing Cheney, I think what they are trying to do is to cause Cheney to get a heart attack.
Now that Cheney has been cleared, I hope the Republicans will tell everyone to shut up.
It's too bad about the other guy, but it was an accident.
One hr. later!!!! The news I saw said the next day.
"reporters aimed tough questions at White House officials about their delay in disclosing the accident."
The scandal drought of the Bush Presidency is entering its sixth year, and the minions of the MSM are beginning to see ghostly images of imagined scandals on the distant horizon, but as they come nearer to them, of course, they vanish.
This is a fix. Local LEO's are republican shill's. Cheney gets to skate free from yet another incident. These republicans are like teflon, nothing, I mean nothing ever sticks to them.

Oops, posted that to the wrong thread.
