lobbying efforts against a U.S. immigration law
Since when do foreign nations have any business lobbying our Congress?

Latin American diplomats teamed up Monday to lobby Washington against a tough immigration plan that would include a large wall along the Mexico-U.S. border to keep out illegal immigrants.

File this in the same file titled SHOCKED! That the stories about gays molesting kids are in.

Oh, I think perhaps we should adopt the same "enforcement" that these same ministers enforce in their own countries.

Remember the Alamo. General Santayana - wherever he is - is no doubt laughing gleefully as his modern-day compatriots slowly take possession of the Southwest.

''The point we have made with clarity is that [the border wall] doesn't seem to us to be the solution,'' said Mexican Foreign Secretary Luis Ernesto Derbez.

Honestly, I can't make this stuff up. It is too freaking funny! What would be the solution then Senor Derbez? Apparently you don;t mind your countrymen working like slaves while the elite with the help of the Mexican military smuggles tons of drugs across the border? You are a disgrace. Good day sir. I said Good day!

They object to "a fence".

a fence...

These political OLIGARCHIES of south america are worried they will have people suddenly turn on them instead of fleeing to the USA. They are just doing what castro did with the mariel boat lift only slower.

That should pretty much nail down the wimps who claim that our border problems are not serious enough to make serious changes.

The countries who are engaged in active invasion by their hordes and drugs are complaining about our putting a stop to it!!

I'm for a wall , a high tech wall and fencing combo. We need it . We will need it more in the future too. Start now , don't dilly-dally. And I hope they don't forget the ground penetrating radar sensors to detect tunneling attempts.

If they think that then can intimdate us into silence and then steal our country, then they are crazy. US citizens will retaliate with all means possible since the federal government won't do it.

Latin American foreign ministers

Latin America? Oh ya, that's those countries on the wrong side of our southern wall. Let them suck rocks

Build the wall. Put a minefield on the outside of it. Put automated machine guns about every 100 yds or so. Leave the bodies to rot in the sun as a sign to other trespassers

demanding the United States to implement guest-worker programs and legalize undocumented migrants.

I'm beyond words... too disgusted.

This is just wrong on SOOOOOOO many levels, I'm sorry...

"Demand" they "legalize" these people? WHY, when college-educated people from... *ahem*... say, Australia, have to jump through interminable hoops? What makes them so darned entitled?
