Good Monday morning, once again, fellow political jinkies. The NFL season may be over, but the political season inside the Beltway is 24/7/365. So join us, if you can, as those wacky Dems on the Senate Judiciary committee reprise their pitiful efforts to once again smear President Bush and score political points..
That too!
OT: Rush wondered aloud (as I did over the weekend) where all these Muslims got Danish flags so quickly, which to burn in protest of that cartoon the leftist press in this country has been saying is an outrage, because they're sympathetic to the radical Islamic cause.
I watched CBS news yesterday and the reporter said that "CBS executives have decided we're not to show this cartoon to you our viewers", but they had no problem putting Bush on the rack and raking him over the coals while foisting a lie upon the American people he dodged serving in Vietnam.
Leahy accusing the AG of CYA!
Most reports are phrased in such a way to lead the reader to think that dialog happened in 2001.
Maybe they wear tinfoil diapers, to help with "accidents" when Gonzalez does his calm slam-downs of the Dim sinators.
Leahy is acting like a thug. Oh, he is one..never mind.
My opinion of him has plummeted .....what a jerk!
Leahy seems to have the Kennedy script today!!!
This arrogant POS who leaked classified info has no right asking the AG any questions.....I loathe him too
Senator, you can call me a martian but that doesn't make me one.
I moved here from Los Angeles a few months ago. Now I see eagles every day instead of police helicopters! What a change!
Leahy saying we would have never found out about this if not for the press. Neglects to mention a leaker. Rockefeller ducks head.
Leahy praising the press. What the hell about the leaker?
Do they not understand this was a top secret program...?
Leaky is gonna hurt himself
What part of they talked to members of congress does he not understand
Oh .. now he's upset they didn't go to the JC about it
that's true about OBLs sat phone.
to be honest, thinking about this and seeing the USA Today headline today, I am thinking that the Times and the Dems have accomplished one part of what they wanted to with this story. the story hasn't damaged Bush, but it has made the NSAs job harder. the attention to this story, the hearings - there are probably alot of dumb-ass jihadis inside the US who now know not to pick up a phone and call Pakistan. and who knows what kind of tips we could have gotten from monitoring those calls.
the political angle aside, the enemy has been helped by this story being leaked and dragged across the front page of the newspapers and the nightly news.
Leahy....is being a real ASSS&&&&
Yep
No. That it precisely what they do not understand.
