I bet they overturn that fumble call. Hasselbeck (have to give him credit--he's played great!) was touched.

Down by contact -- pretty clear
OK, Whinerton fans. If they don't call this down by contact I'll submit the game is being called badly.

By the time I left, I think they were up to $1,000 a square. Now that's hardcore! I participated in a $100 per square pool once. Prize was $2,500 a quarter. I had the winning numbers with about thirty seconds left in the 1st quarter and one of the teams scored a field goal and ruined it.
Hasselback fumbles and it's lights out for Seattle.

I see it, and I was rooting for Da Bears. (who really stunk it up in that last playoff game)

Funny Macguyver commercial Hope the advertisers were paying attention because that's the way it SHOULD be done. It was simple, focused and funny--and I remember the product: Mastercard :)

I've watched every time slot of every week of every season for over a decade. He didn't jam he GRABBED. Had he not closed his fist on the uniform and inside of the pad I agree it would have been a jam and not a hold, once the hand CLOSES on part of the uniform or equipment it's a hold.

In the first quart44er the ysaid that this head ref overturned the call on field only 22% of the time.

Yes I'm drinking Iron City (in aluminum bottles). My sister brought over half a case for me. She kept the other half.

I don't claim to know the rules on this one but it looks like he was already slipping down when he was touched. Does this count for down by contact or does the contact have to cause the player to fall? If the answer is no. he was not down when touched and the fumble is a good call.

Hey, language. I agree with your sentiments, but this isn't DU.

It had never been called here, before. The ref had a son on the team who had not made varsity because he was only about 5'6, my son was 6'5.

Actually, my team is the Pats and normally I'd cheer for the AFC team. But the officiating DOES suck and all these whambulance posts have me cheering for the Hawks.

I was rooting for the Steelers in this game. After that last call, who can seriously argue that this game has not been handed to the Steelers?
