I am a Seahawk fan because I live in Phoenix, and we don't have a professional football team, just the Cardinals.

I don't understand the penalty against Hasselbeck.

I know I'm going to get flamed for whining...
But there is something VERY strange about the officiating in this game.
To: Eva
John was wrong, that was a TEXTBOOK hold. If that wasn't a hold they might as well delete the rule from the book, not only was the defender held the hold kept him from making a play.

Time for an investigation of collusion by the league via officiating. Seattle is getting screwed royally here.

Seems that everytime Seattle makes a big play, it gets called back with a penalty. Yes, there sure seems to be a trend...and even the announcers keep pointing out the bad ones...which have likely cost the Seahawks 2 TD's now. Guess the Seahawks should have checked with the league office and picked a year that they didn't care who wins.

He grabbed the guy's collar and pulled him down, and that was just barely enough to keep the defender from Matt, that is a textbook hold. Not a bad call.Yep. That's generally what they rule it, even if he had grabbed the top of his shoulder pads, still a holding call.

I didn't care who won when the game started, but this is the worst officiating I've seen. Seattle has been getting royally screwed.

As a neutral observer in this game who doesn't really care who wins, it is my opinion that these refs are absolutely horrible. The calls made against the Seahawks on crucial plays have been terrible.
Agreed, I have no stakes, but the Seahawks are getting the worst calls.
To: pollyannaish
Agreed. And Al Michaels agrees.

Not by me, the officiating has stunk!
