Israel has a better strategy...They are closing down their 'settlements' and thereby forcing Jews to abandon their homes and giving the property to the A-rabs...

This will effectively make Israel so small on the map, Iran won't be able to find it to target it with their missles...

Any pre-emting will take place in Syria- whether from Isreal or someone else. THe stuff in Iran is not yet viable. The stuff in Syria is ready to be used.

When it's over, Iran will be a bit more agreeable and everyone else will be a bit more anxious to take out the Iranian sites.

Russia should really be thinking about the sanctions or harsher in about a month because that President of Iran is crazy enough to sell fissile material to Chechen Terrorist.

A pre-emptive nuclear war, would lead to a global nuclear war. Let the nuke war genie out then prepare to pay hell.

Meaning all your ashes are belong to us...end game no brain.

Iran – to bomb or not to bomb?
February 1st, 2006

The consequences

But what would be the consequences? The reaction of the “Arab Street”? World opinion? The impact on world trade and the economy? Most importantly, how would the Iranians react? Here are two salient considerations and one that lurks in the background.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn! It means that the UN has now given Iran 10 years to stop their illicit activity concerning nuclear weapons development, or they will really hear from the UN.

Don't hold your breath.

At least the UN did give Iran a month in which to remove all of their assets from the west, just in case the UN does issue sanctions against them.

Yes they do. Secretly the US and the new Iraqi government has already made plans to land Israeli plans in a secret desert installation in Iraq to refuel them going and returning from an strike on Iran.

Remember that Israel has already purchased many of the US so called "bunker-buster" and it has been said off the record that Israel has already modified them with tactical nuclear tips for deep penetrators.

Anyway, what ever happens, it won't be pretty.

So who blinks first. Iran? Israel bombs facilities? Bush gets a vote from Congress to use more force if necessary?
It certainly gets more "hugh and series" the longer we wait.

I firmly believe that the U.N. referel is no longer an issue!! It's a done deal.

The real consideration is all the TALK from the Iranian side. Are they really going to put up or shut up? The Iranians have really stepped out with all their tough talk. To not back it up with "real and decisive" actions will undermine the leaderships' authority and the citizens perception of their government.

This has put all the pressure on the Iranians and Israels. Who is going to jump first?

Iran says it's going all out with their NUKE program!

Israel says it won't allow such a program to progress!

Israel is already allowing it.

Seals came off awhile ago, and today they are claiming be full-scale enrichment will begin. Throw in that they already had warhead plans that they showed to the UN, which means Iran most likely already has nuclear weapons or they wouldn't be pushing so hard.

US must either take the initiative or give in. News about kicking the litte Israeli dog into leading the attack is propaganda bs. It will be a joint effort or we fold the cards.

UN says Iran has warhead documents

"Russia and China, agreed to referral only on condition that no council action be taken until at least March."

They are bloody up to something. I wonder what Iran has planned between now and then.

A strike on Iranian nuke processing facilities while the ROP nut cases are all atwitter about the cartoons should be an interesting mix.

The sooner this is brought to a crescendo the better as far as a wake-up call is concerned.

Ha ha! You may be right. ;)

Basically, everyone seems to be merely allowing Iran more time to get that weapon working.

So, while Iran screams in protest publicly, they are rubbing their hands together behind the scenes and jumping up and down while continuing their forward march.

You may be excactly right, Revel.

For the last few months, Iranian news services have been trumpeting how getting a delay until March would be a good thing. Makes one wonder.

I have been thinking the same thing since i first saw that. If they really thought what the Iranians were doing was wrong, why wait? It scares me to think why they want us to wait.
