Hi! My name is Shorty and I am 4 years old! First I want to say thanks for trying to keep us safe to all the soldiers out there! Today I want to talk about my favorite TV show, Thomas the Tank Engine
The show is all about Thomas and his friends. Some of their names are Gordon and Percy.
My favorite engine is Emily, because when I play with my Emily in the living room, her wheels go deep in the carpet and I can pretend it's snowing. Here's a picture of Emily:
Emily is green and she doesn't have a number. Instead she just has some squares. Another engine is James.
He's my second favorite engine because he's red and red is a pretty color. James is number 5. There's a new engine called Molly.
I don't know much about her yet except that she's yellow.
Here are some fun things you can do online with Thomas: Play games and more at Thomas' site! Some printable activity sheets here! Lost of stuff to know about Thomas here! I hope you like my thread. I had fun telling you about my favorite TV show.
Who is YOUR favorite engine?

Just received my b.day present from Ev.
It's an American flag, and the following note:
"Hey Mom, what's happening? Here it is, your birthday present. Of course it's a couple of weeks late, but you can understand why - the post office of course, doesn't have same day service, and additionally I wanted to wait until these pictures came back from the printer. So, as the certificates say, the flag was flown over (his camp) on your birthday. There is only one flagpole on each Army post, and for one day this flag flew on (his camp's.) I thought you might get a kick out of it. So, happy belated birthday. Love, Evan.
The pictures are of him standing under the flagpole.
I'll tell you what the certificates say after I've shed a few tears.;^)

Oh, ML....I'll read the certificates after I've shed tears with you! *sniff*
That is the most wonderful birthday present that you could have possibly received, except maybe him walking in the front door. What a sweet son!
I wish you could share the pictures with us.
(((((hugs)))))...to you and to Evan...my heroes, both of you!
