Where are the Long Island Freepers? I never see any countering the filthy hippie leftovers who appear on every nice weekend on the corner of Rt. 25A in Setauket, with their flag-draped coffins and their signs screaming "Bush lied, kids died!"
Their latest trick is to appear in orange jumpsuits with black underwear on their heads to simulate the "torture" imposed on those poor innocents in Abu Ghraib. I suspect they sort of like the get-up.
I always oblige them with a digital salute, but I feel our side is under-represented here.
Im in Nassua County and havent heard anything about any of this... I will gladly join a counter protest, so add me to your ping list... thanks.

"Where are all the LI Freepers?" was an offhand remark, because I met someone at a dinner who had organized a few Protest Warrior things, and I wondered if there was anything going on locally.
And then the smelly hippie leftovers annoyed me.
But they are irrelevant. I hear they're going to show up at the President's State of the Union address to bang some drums and chant about peace-love-dope.
If that's the best they can do we have no worries.
Nutmeg your great summation of what happend that day and strong support of our friend frankly gave the poster more than he/she is entitled to. jla's post was accusative in nature and his/her aim was to get noticed. Sometimes the act of ignoring goes further than addressing their stupidity.
I think JLA is a she, I searched for jla's posts, and that style of writing is not manly at all...
jla is obviously an anti-freeper who gets her rocks off by slandering Freepers she is jealous of.
