Sorry but its hard for me to get all teary eyed and choked up around this.

The MSM deserves no sympathy what so ever. They have been very much part of the problem and not part of the solution in Iraq.

Bob Woodruff has given plenty of attention to Cindy Sheehan who is the icon to the antiwar movement.

There needs to be a rebellion against the MSM in our country. There is a difference between the 1st amendment and treason in America and many journalists have crossed that line. If I give him credit for anything it would be that he actually tried reporting outside of the green zone.

I'm not buying your ill-concieved argument. But try again any time.

PS: I see the mods responded to your pussilanimous request to delete my post.

I say again, especially for weaklings like you: 'Reporters' who work to defeat the quite necessary actions of the USA vis the WOT deserve what they get, especially if it is death at the hands of their protagonists (the terrorists, for such as you). I could care less that they are too stupid to survive the gene pool. I just care that they might take me with them.

go ahead, butthole. Ping the mods again.

"I'm not buying your ill-concieved argument. But try again any time."

Argument? I know argument and my post to you was not an argument, yet. It was a statement about you as a person, judging from your remarks. As for being ill-concieved, do you own a mirror?

Yes, prayers for that Iraqi officer. Prayers for all the brave Iraqis, and BIG BIG prayers for all our soldiers.

THE MSM will rant and rave about this....

I hope Woodruff recovers, and his cameraman too.....

I also hope if they are over there reporting again, that they are smart enough to keep their heads down.

God Bless our troops, who never get this kind of attention.

Instead of arguing my points, you jumped to a conclusion and ran to the mods. What does that say about you?

OK Clara.

I kind of give up with the naivtee of a lot of people who at least generally vote the right way.

But stupidity is part of it. You may think news shows aren't TV with formats and marketing. It was a format change after Jenning's death -- a marketing ploy -- that brought Woodruff to Iraq.

It's OK. What I find fascinating is there are so many, like you, who wallow in their own ignorance and stupidity and seem proud to broadcast it.

A little too much like the liberal mirror image to me.

You DO know what the word ASSume means, don't you? No, I didn't run to the mods and wet their feet with my tears about your post.

Is THAT the best defense you can come up with? That I ran to the mods and calling me a name?

Please tell me what you see in the mirror by the way....

Nice to see you two lovebirds got together.

I was watching a wildlife video early today on Africa called Animals Are Beautiful People. I became very sad for the crocodiles during the dry season when they went without rain. I worried they might die

Oh I'm sorry were we talking about the mainstream media and Iraq?

I am admittedly new here. I will clarify: it pains me greatly to see that the press has failed to acknowledge any of the sacrfices that the troopers on-scene made....It is unfortunate that Mr. Woodruff and companion were injured.

Regardless, Woodruff was there of his on volition, advancing his own career, playing a game he does not know and it sure seems like he contributed to his own misfortune. My sympathy is tempered by these self-imposed circumstances.

Further,I find it so very distasteful that every reporter down to the local flea market paper is wrapping these guys in the flag like Silver Star candidates.....

My previous post was reference the ABC/Disney news forum and how they edit/censor/delete anyone who is not sending a prayer and good wishes to Woodruff et al. i find it strange that such an organization that wraps itself in the flag and uses the constitution to shield itself cannot support the true spirit of the constitution and allow free speech on thier own site.

Many people were posting comments that were critical of Woodruff and the lack of recognition of the troops sacrifice (ours or Iraqi) at the same event. Within one minute those comments would be deleted but the sunshine and prayers were allowed to remain.
That is Hypocrisy in my book.

If my concerns for other human beings regardless of their political views when they are seriously injured and going through surgery makes me a "weakling," then I'd rather be a "weakling" any day.

Of course, I'm disgusted about the alphabet media and their so called journalists' actions and non-actions, but there is a time for everything, including hate.

Your screen name represents you well, Tom.

I now understand your position after reading one of your old posts.

Your a fan of pickle brain "Imus." He has yet to see anything wrong with the mainstream media during this war.

I have to admit, I've not listened to Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly for some time, but for those who do you may want to see if any of them respond to remarks just made on the Imus program.

Imus has now challenged Limbaugh, O'Reilly and "other loud mouths," as he puts it, to contributing to the fallenheroesfund. Larry Kenny (in drag today) goes on to explain how Limbaugh has an "Adopt a Soldier" program that is really a way to pay for service men and women to get free access to Limbaugh's website and to get his newsletter free. Imus asks where the money goes? Bernard chimes in with something like, "Probably to the greedy fat slob himself."
