The Senate meets at noon today, again in Executive Session, for the 3rd day of debate on the nomination of Samuel Alito to SCOTUS. Not sure, what, if anything, will happen today..Will there be a filabuster?..will anyone show up..might be work while checking out the beginning of the session, to get the lay of the land....

I have to agree...I think we all knew Harry was up to something yesterday...remember how complacent he was?....they knew all the time what the plan was.....I just hope that Frist did too...but I doubt it...

Something none of us have commented on is by taking the lead on this Fillibuster and getting Feinstein, Clinton, Durbin, and others to fall in line he is cementing his position as the exaulted leader of the Dem Party and his place as the candidate for '08 -- which he said this week he IS running in '08.
We'd have to swing open the doors of every ER in the country because the RATS would be dropping from cardiac arrest.
I think the people coming out for the filibuster (Kerry, Clinton, Dodd, etc.) are doing so to appease their hard left base.
I feel like between Iran, The Palistinan situation and the crazy democratic party schenagans the world is just going to he!! in a handbasket...
It doesn't need to make sense to us; that's why we're us and they're them.
