Unclear if Massachusetts Democrat has votes needed to block nominee

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Sen. John Kerry has decided to support a filibuster to block the nomination of Judge Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court, CNN's Congressional Correspondent Ed Henry reported Thursday. Kerry, in Davos, Switzerland, to attend the World Economic Forum, was marshaling support in phone calls during the day, Henry said.

I've been reading through the replies on this thread trying to find out if Hillary supports a filibuster. Anybody know?
To: old and tired
The only Rat I've heard that is on board with Skerry is the Schwimmer. But surely MRS. BILL CLINTON is being watched closely by her moonbat base on this one!
Of course, supporting a filibuster is political sleight of hand in this case. Alito has the votes and the Rats know it. So it's just so much theater of the absurd.
Which, happy to say, makes the pressure even more on MRS. BILL CLINTON. Her base will demand she do it for the "principle" of the matter, but tilting at Repub windmills will make her look as ridiculous as loser Skerry.

Let it be war between them then...

And I call for the arrest of John Effin Kerry, for aiding and abetting the enemy in a time of war. Treasonous bat-turd.

John Kerry calling in from Davos, Switzerland is so John Kerry. When in Senate's in recess, he's hitting the ski slopes in Vail or somewhere else his wife has a chalet. When the Senate's in session, he's in Europe. If the Senate's in session, shouldn't senators be in town?

Once I printed up business card-sized thingies which I left on the shelf in front of all the backward-facing Heinz ketchup bottles. (I have no affiliation with W Ketchup). This is what I had printed on the little cards:

Apparently, Feinstein also now supports a fili. Hah! The avalanche of moonbat email must have been unbelievable. Plus, face it, they *can't* filibuster (they don't have the votes), so this is a pure political theatre freebie for them.
Any word yet on MRS. BILL CLINTON??

The filibuster would probably be the longest time he ever spent on the Senate floor.

As near as I can figure they are afraid of the court "moving to the right." To the rest of us that means the courts might start making sense again. Of course there is one way the socialists can guarantee they get the courts they want. Win elections. Winning elections usually means you get the judges you want, not the judges the opposition wants.

One of John Kerry's daughters - can't you see the resemblance?
To: Mean Maryjean
Yep.
It was priceless. I even taped it should I ever need a good laugh again. LOL
Kerry was upset because for a full week the GOP had a successful convention smacking him down. It's custom for the opposing candidate to go silent during the other's convention. Kerry broke that convention throughout the convention, then after Bush's smackdown HE decided it would be a good idea to have a spontaneous midnight rally. No one ever did get the answer if he was drunk, or dead tired, but I vote drunk.
