Johnson: Judge Alito deserves the same deference that Republican Senators accorded the Supreme Court nominees of President Clinton

Refreshing.

Very unlike Schumer who kept saying that the nominee Miguel Estrada could be kicked around and denied a federal judgeship because he "already had a job."

Dick Turbin playing the latest talking points.
Bush isn't protecting you!! He's previewing their strategy for the 2006 elections. "we'll protect you better"

These people are hoping and praying that we get attacked so they can use it to win power.

LOL, they are REALLY losing it at DU and DC--
they are looking for help from "Chairman Gov. Dr. Howard Dean" to stop Alito's confirmation...citing Hitler comparisons to Bush and Alito...they are claiming if Alito goes through, Congress ceases to exist...blasting Reid for not forcing a filibuster...there'll be a coronation for "King George"...already celebrating all the Dem election victories later this year...complaining about Grassley's fervor="They are going to win in the long run, right, so why all the drama and tears?" and there must be a conspiracy that the R's know something the D's don't that could endanger Alito's confirmation!

What a chuckle to read this meltdown. Maybe once they get this out of their systems, maybe they'll listen to common sense.
