We know the Senators HATE working on Friday...and I am sure that any Dem senators, knowing that Alito will be confirmed, that will be asked to speak tomorrow...

will NOT be happy...so, I wouldn't be surprised if Reid made it seem that there will be dem speakers tomorrow...but, surprise..when tomorrow gets here..

NO one to speak...sigh....and at that time, the UC request for Monday at 5:30 will be agreed to...but, in the meantime, the GOP will show up when they didn't need to...

To read DU, if Alito is appointed, women will lose, not only the "right" to kill their unborn babies, but just about be forced into servitude.

It doesn't matter if opposer are out of the country, on that. 60 affirmative needed to pass it.

The reason the vote will be held up, regardless, is that the Senate will not call for a vote as a matter of general principle, unless all the Senators who want to vote, can be there to do so.
