Well that is something that OUGHT to be changed IMMEDIATELY. If I were a returning officer and the voter couldn't barely speak the language I might question that. In fact, I WOULD question that. I'd ask to see their citizenship papers.

I have not watched CBC in 10 years. I REFUSE to watch those disgraceful Liberal government hacks. The only time I think I watched it was when Preston gave a speech when he was the Reform Party leader and they were in opposition. His speech was in response to the Budget just handed down. What a speech it was too!!

I don't think that AshamedCanadian is ashamed of BEING Canadian or of Canada,just the Liberal government and policies that Canada's had for a while. We can relate to that,we had Clinton for eight years. THAT was embarrassing and shaming!

I have some friends in Canada too, I may make friendly jokes about Canadian coins etc., but I learned most of those from Canadian business owners.

Yep, At about 7:00 I got to do one more check of the voters list at the polling station I've been assigned and race back to the campaign office with the update on which of our supporters haven't voted yet so that they can be called.
Then pack to the polling station by 9:15 to observe and assure the accuracy of the count, then back to the office with the count,(pant pant) and then back here to share the hoped for joy with you folks.
