The Liberal Party strategists forget one thing: they've lost francophone Canada. I don't see how they make up the losses in Quebec even with a few pickups in British Columbia. It isn't going to happen. But if they want to entertain delusions of victory, its their right. I just can't wait to see voters bid Martin and his gang of thugs good bye and good riddance tomorrow.

There's a web site called www.electionprediction.org that predicts:
Conservatives 118 seats
Liberals 104 seats
Bloc Quebecois 56 seats
NDP 29 seats
Other 1 seat
I can't attest to the reliability of this site - but if true, the Conservatives won't do as well as expected.
opinions anyone?

"Biased msm death rattle" PING!
Since he had them crossing their fingers anyway, Martin might as well have also advised Liberals to hedge their bets by investing heavily in lottery tickets - LOL!

CTV has got it all wrong.
The Conservative party under Stephen Harper will form the new government for all Canadians .
God bless America and all their fine Republicans.

It is interesting to note the uniqueness of our form of democracy. In many social democracies the President or Prime Minister and in some cases both are voted by the legislature, or in most cases the majority party. In this country each states popular election determines which candidate gets the electoral votes. I like our system much better.

Man this article doesn't just seem to read like a press release from Martin and the liberals - it is a press release.

Harper has also said he would re-open negotiations on joining the U.S. missile-defence project and back away from both the Kyoto accord to curb greenhouse gases and a multibillion-dollar treaty with aboriginals. I so hope Harper wins. Missle defense is so very important. Not to mention, it would be humorous to see Canada ditch Kyoto.

"The eyes of Canada are going to be on British Columbia tomorrow night - the election is going to be decided here," Martin told a boisterous crowd of B.C. Liberals. The caravan of lawyers, left-wing election-process FUD-spreaders, and moveon.org provocateurs is already on its way.
