Are you ready for some football? My predictions:
Denver 23/Pittsburgh 13, Seattle 24/Carolina 17
Hah, easy for you to say. What's with the busses going the wrong way on the one way streets?????????XXXXXXK*$&*^#
No worries about eating crow - have a beer instead ;-)
I very proud of our Seahawk D and O!! See you on another thread...
Best,
SC
We are walking around the house saying, "I can't believe we are going to the Superbowl!" LOL. WOOHOOO!!
How do you feel about our chances vs. the Steelers? To me, the Steelers just seem like a relentless steamroller...not sure if our dancing will work. What do you think?
I think you are 100% correct...the Steeler Nation will be out in force...and Steeler fans do travel well. It is about a 5 hour drive (give or take) to the Motor City from Pgh...so expect alot of Towels!!!
But when the Raiders moved to town in the early 80s they attracted an altogether different element. Major fights in the stands at nearly every game (one Steeler fan was knocked into a coma) -- not exactly a family-friendly atmosphere.
Glad you made it out of NO safely.
Skaters......forget it. I can't bear to watch when they are getting ready to jump!!!
I haven't watched the Steelers and don't know that much about them (except that Rush likes them and they won today ;-) I'll have to study up on them. That said, I do know that when our guys put their heads down and focus, they're tough to beat. If their timing is off and/or if they get nervous, they probably won't do so well.
i knew the ravens had a great D but i doubted such a young franchise pulling off a super bowl win.
If your boys play like they did today they probably do win.
BTW, It's less than 3 hours to Detroit from here. It is tempting to head on up.
I felt very positive about this game, but I'm still in a bit of a state of shock, too. LOL!
I agree...I think they are going to win it all this year. It is about five hours from our are (a little east of the Burgh) to Motown...Detroit, February, driving five hours in a possible snow storm...we have done crazier things. Good luck with your ticket search!!!
LOL...boy, do you sound like me!!!
I am a complete wussie when it comes to crunchtime!!
I used to be in constant anxiety attack during the Olympics...gymnastics, skating, rowing, track and field..you name it...couldn't handle it!!
Nope..PATS FAN.
Congrats to you and all the other Seahawk fans. 2 weeks from now you will know the results of the XL Super Bowl.
Neither. I don't care who wins.
Well as a Pats fan you'd think the AFC, however, I could not root for Pitts. against anyone.
How's them ankles doing?
You seem to be jumping on and off bandwagons a LOT
NOPE, PATS FAN ONLY. I HATE THE steelers, SO I'LL ROOT FOR ANYONE PLAYING THEM.
Steelers have been named a four point favorite over the Seahawks. Just on ESPN a few minutes ago.
Personally, I would rather see the Steelers be the underdogs.
