Are you ready for some football? My predictions:
Denver 23/Pittsburgh 13, Seattle 24/Carolina 17
24 is on WGN right now....
OLD one though...
My son went to college in Pittsburgh but somehow never became a Steeler's fan.
He's in Cincinnati now and we know what happened to the Bengals.....
:
This has nothing to do with ancestry, the man ate a fracking Indian.
OMG, ROFL!
Really? Don't count on it ... I've been a Bronco fan and season ticket holder for a lot of years. In that time they've been to the big dance 6 times ... 4 losses and 2 SuperBowl victories. Several teams in the NFL have never enjoyed the SB experience ... win or lose, they just never got there and we're coming up on SBXL.
My only two gripes about the premier of "24" are this: if only Palmer, Tony, Michelle, and Chloe knew that Jack wasn't dead, how did the terrorists find out? There's no way they'd go out of their way to frame a dead man.
My second gripe is they killed Michelle, who was, aside from Jack, my favorite character. And she was a hottie. Coal in the writer's stockings next Christmas!
I'm glad your calculations were off. I'll be working at the Superbowl and will have a much better time with my Steelers there!
so is the general concensus this game is over as the thgread has turned to Chuck Norris and award shows?
I'd like to see us go in w 23 to 7 (questionable)
Flag - late hit - good, get's us 15 yars closer to the goal (as long as our guy wasn't hurt).
AP just reported that Gary Kubiak will be named Houston Texans head coach.
15!!! Hey, after them messing up during the Smith td and Matt almost getting his head ripped off, it's about time one went our way.
You got to admire a guy with a beard like that too.
IIRC it was the foreign press that votes on the Golden Globes - not the American People (of course, the Hollyweird idiots and MSM forget to mention that).
OK I'll admit it - -I used to watch Walker, Texas Ranger
I spent a lot of time at Three Rivers Stadium, not because of the Steelers, but because parking was 50 cents the day and the walk across to my job downtown was only a few minutes. The field itself was surprisingly hard, like concrete painted fuzzy green. Tackles must have been painful.
Most of the Portland Trailblazers are convicted. Look what that did for them !
I'll drink to that! Them Houston boys need to learn to party...
Let's not
GO SEAHAWKS!!!!
You're right -- that '67-'70 team was awesome, but the Joe Kapp Vikes would beat 'em in the tundra of Minny, and Dallas had their own awesome team with Bob Lilly and Bob Hayes.
Deacon Jones perfected that 'head-slap,' and on offense that had the biggest, nastiest OT in Bob Brown who wound up at Oakland. Roman Gabriel -- NOT a Big game QB.
The Pack's last Lombardi team was '67 -- a team that won SB II (and I.)
