Years ago, I saw BB King and some old cracker trading notes on a late night show as I was channel surfing.

Turned out to be the Charlie Rose show, IIRC, no matter, the geezer made BB King look like he was playing with 9 thumbs or something.

It was Chet Atkins a few years before he passed.

It has been released on vhs and also laserdisc, a precursor to dvd....which I have.
I can transfer original master vhs tape from the LIVE pay per view to DVD-r for you...if you like.

I like HCTS, but I've never been "wowed" by it. Capo 7th fret, pick around the D-shape with lots of arpeggios. Cool tune, great organ/synth work.

With all due respect, that can't be right. "Abbey Road" and George Harrison's "Electronic Music" (his all Moog Zapple album) were both 1969. "Wild Honey" was 1967, although I'm not sure the sound they used was a Moog. Are you sure you don't mean 1962? Was the Moog invented then?

I hate to admit it,but I kinda liked them in their cheesy 70s Jefferson Starship incarnation. Is that worse than admitting to liking some Eagles music?

not at all. I think Red Octopus turned out to be their biggest seller. I still listen to Miracles when I need a mello retroblast

Django could have played circles around Page, Clapton etc any day of the week. The ridiculous hype that surrounds rock guitarists is absolutely astonishing.

Actually, it looks like it isn't right. I read in "Rolling Stone" many years ago that the Stephen Stills with his band Manassas were the first to use the Moog, but on the web it give credit to none other than the "Monkees" as coming out with the first "popular" album with the Moog on it.
