Do insane 7th Century cavemen have a point? No.
It's official: Pat is now completely off his rocker.

Pat lost an uncle at the death camps. He fell out of the tower.

What do you suppose drove him to hate Jews so much? Who knows where psychosis starts? Maybe a Jewish competitor beat him out for a job. Maybe a Jewish student outperformed him in school. Maybe he screwed up on the job and got fired by a Jewish boss. One thing you can be sure of--his hatred of Jews stems from a deep sense of insecurity about himself.

Pat just heard that Ayman al-Zawahri may be dead, and this is his essay part for the application to be Al-Qaeda's No.2.

A Zogby survey of 3,900 Arabs in Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates has uncovered massive distrust of U.S. motives in the Middle East.Sheesh, Buchanan! It took a Zogby poll to tell you Arabs mistrust the United States? This has been a fact of life in the Middle East for at least the last 55-60 years. Who knows -- maybe it goes back to the days of the Barbary pirates.
Why don't you tell the truth for a change, Buchanan. What sticks in your craw is the fact that the U.S. and Israel are close allies. You want us to sell Israel out to the Arabs, plain and simple.
As for this little bit of ugliness -- "Has Bush ever raised his voice to Ariel Sharon?" -- it might have played as legit only a few weeks ago. However, since the Israeli PM's massive stroke, it is just a pointless, consciously mean-spirited jab at a friendship between two men that goes back before either became leader of their respective nations.
You, Pat Buchanan, are nothing more than a mean, ugly throwback to the 1930's and Father Coughlin.

Crazy article. The writer wants us to believe that Arabs would prefer to be anihilated by the Han Chinese (who got their start during the period of Warring States by doing just that) than deal with us.
Apparantly he doesn't know anything about history, and doesn't realize we can all see right through him.

If you think about it, the distrust probably goes back AT LEAST to the crusades. Hell AQ STILL brings that up.

Cannot decided which is more appalling that Pat Buchanan has decided to come right out and be an active propaganda mouth piece for Al Qeda or that some Freepers actually think this garbage is worthy of posting here.

Lone Voice will not make a difference.
Its good to hear it anyway.
Pat's courage to rise in face of AIPAC is praise-worthy.
He will not win, and he won't get any support from those who have been brain-washed, but sometimes results are not important.
Go Pat Go!

If you think about it, the distrust probably goes back AT LEAST to the crusades.Yes, that's true for their distrust of the western world. However, their distrust specifically of the USA probably began with the Barbary pirates.
Personally, I'm not in the least bit troubled by their distrust of us, because as far as I'm concerned the feeling's mutual.

virtually all media and commentators do, unfortunately, Not to quite this degree. Pat is ignoring the forest in favor of the single tree that leans his way.
