We have two choices: Iran with nuclear weapons or a war against Iran. I suggest the latter is the better choice.
As Michael Ledeen says, "Faster Please".
Iran's rhetoric about nuclear inspections is eerily reminiscent of Iraq's. What is it about these countries that start with the letters I-R-A? As a matter of fact, I have a cousin named Ira, and he is a putz.
Is this story starting to sound like another country we know? I better hurry up and retire, I'm getting too old to go to war a third time.
Iran seems to have less patience than Iraq did in playing cat and mouse. Of course, if you believe the Mahdi is coming in less than two years, and his coming will be because of world chaos, they don't have much time, do they?
Boy, I'll be the mullahs are scared to death of the UN!
I agree with your second choice. It IS the better one.
Religion of peace my arse BUMP!
No doubt.
Iran has not learned from the Iraq experience, have they?
Thankfully, the Iranians are too brash/vain/arrogant to bide their time, playing cat and mouse. If they made a longer time-frame, they would have them (like the Pali's would have been better served to wait out Oslo rather than declare intifada part 2). Hopefully, we will either be at war with Iran, or aiding their liberal revolution/ civil war.
This tactic worked well for Saddam. He's in jail, his kids are dead, his country is now democratic and Adadajaheedadedede wants to do it again?
This guy needs a brain transplant.
Get the thing over with. About 2 hours of bombing will do it.
The first strike must be against the MoooooLaaaaaas and the wacko so call leader of the pack.
Somehow this song and dance seems hauntingly familiar...
Only thing left is for Ahmadinejad to don a blue turbin!
Destroying Iran is strictly a pay me now or pay me a lot more later.
And I say, "Well, rah, rah, rah, and sis, boom, bah! Let Iran proclaim their violence, loud and clear, to all.
As if ANYONE in the world is scared of the UN. What a joke that organization is.
Iran is a sovereign nation, as are we. If they want to kick out the UN that's their business. They can face the consequences if we have to act upon less than reliable information.
WHAT'S TO INSPECT? WE WANT TO KNOW IF THE PLAN IS MISSILE DEVELOPMENT? THEY'VE ALREADY SAID THAT PUBLICALLY. MOREOVER,WE ALREADY KNEW THAT THE ONLY COUNTRIES THAT DEVELOP NUCLEAR ENERGY, AT GREAT COST, ARE THOSE WITH INSUFFICIENT CONVENTIONAL ENERGY.
The answer to Adjminidinijad (or whatever) is "we place no great priority on inspections.....but perhaps you should".
"Either way....you will not develop a nuclear weapon...we do not have to inspect to assure that outcome. Take your pick".
I would love to see Condi state it in those terms in a UN address.
