Even Durbin can't be this dumb! These two cases he raises have nothing in common but the 4th Amendment question. Two totally different things!

I'm guessing the NJ senators will vote for Alito.
you'd think so wouldn't you...but
if they do...they'll anger their base (other dems)
if they don't...they'll anger their base (nj voters)

Does he or does he not wear mascara and eyeliner? It's part of why he looks so creepy, with his nefarious grin

when he has disagreed with his circuit, hasn't the USSC agreed with him more times than not? I don't know on that one, for sure, have heard the assertion made but never looked it up. But the charge being made is that Alito is HIMSELF inconsistent.
To: AliVeritas
I guess Durbin would be for suicide bombers keeping their wares then. Looks that way to me.

We need at least one more fairly young conservative who will be around for a while to feel comfortable knowing the Constitution will be strictly interpreted as intended.

The strip search of a ten year old is a non-issue. There was evidence that they may have hid drugs on the child. So, having a female officer search the child to make sure she did not have any drugs was prudent. What if they did not search the child and the child had dangerous drugs on her which she took and died from. Or, maybe the child might have given the drugs to another child, or taken them to school, etc, etc.
They were protecting the child. geesh!

Durbin has no clue what goes on in the drug world... he must get his through courier.
