The RATS are going to spin Mrs Alito as someone who cannot take the heat so her husband shouldn't be a SCOTUS.

Yea but - the spin tonight is that she cried because of the kind words of Lyndsey Graham. Despicable RAT Media trying to cover the tracks tonight.I'll bet they try and claim that the entire thing was staged by the Alitos and Karl Rove. Matthews and Olberman are probably already making that accusation, and the turd burglars at the NYT will doubtless follow suit. After all, it's something that they would do, have done countless times in the past.

Yup. There's hardly a woman alive who hasn't been there. Not in as public a venue as Mrs. Alito, of course, but shared similar feelings.
Oh, and now naive Alan Colmes is saying that no one thinks Alito is a racist. Riiiight.

I was about to say the same thing. My sister died young, and my mama said, "I can stand anything but sympathy!" Both of us are stiff-upper-lip types, and could stand any amount of abuse, but the sympathy just really got to us.

They make a very sweet loving couple and this will hurt the dirty dems big time.
Indeed...the 'rats hosed themselves bigtime IF any of this made it to the MSM - I have no idea about that.
Seeing Chuckie in the senate's 'spin zone' being interviewed by John Gibson reminded me why these idiots remain clueless as to why they can't win a national election.

My four year old niece died and I was a rock during the funeral and all the events surrounding it in an effort to help the rest of the family.
Three days later a telemarketer called. In a kinder than usual voice, she asked "How are you doing today?" I burst into wracking sobs.
I think she thought I was nuts. I totally get Mrs. Alito.

Feingold is one of the leading Dems calling for an impeachment. Also, he's running for President in 2008 and is one of the Dims who are openly courting the far left base. And he's already bucked them once, voting for John Roberts' confirmation in committee and on the Senate floor. He can't afford to vote for Alito.

Think about this: This fine man has judged thousands of cases and made hundred of rulings. All the Dems have is an accusation that he was part of a "good old boys" club 30 years ago. How terribly pathetic is that.

Ditto.
I'd favor a filibuster to end them once and for all. We have good judges still being filibustered that could benefit from the Dems attempting one over a SC Justice with the eyes of the American people firmly on them. Then we'd get them all through.
The only Dems worthy of any notice are from "red" or swing states. They are the RINO's tend to indicate the wind a nomination blows, and so far it's good for Alito. Especially after today.

I buy houses to rent out. I dont flip. I find homes owned by people who are totally underwater and just need to get their depts paid off. I throw in first/last rent and moving expenses in exchange for the title.

There is a lot of reason for glee in the White House this evening...
The way the 'Rats wanked themselves today bodes well for the next two (yes, two - Stevens and Ginsberg) replacements during Bush's term.
They spewed their seed, it's backfiring, and I'd bet that if W nominated Lynne Cheney on the next go-round, she'd sail through......the 'Rats had a huge case of premature ejac today, and the ramifications will hit them down the line.
