Hope all this costs the 'rats a lot of Italo-American votes.
I do think that there is a letter from Kennedy asking for a subpoena for the private documents of William Rusher from the Library of Congress.
Question .. would this application for a job also include a security clearance of some sort??
Because, if so ... you have to put everything down ..
From Fat Ted's "Televised Statement to the Nation"
Friday - July 25, 1969
There is no truth whatever to the widely circulated suspicions of immoral conduct that have been leveled at my behavior and hers regarding that evening. There has never been a private relationship between us of any kind. I know of nothing in Mary Jo's conduct on that or any other occasion - and the same is true of the other girls at the party - that would lend any substance to such ugly speculation about their character. Nor was I driving under the influence of liquor.
It makes me want to puke. I wonder if she was the intended target of a Kennedy waitress sandwich?
What woman would want to be consoled by a drunk driving Ted at 11:00 pm at night in his car while his wife was at home?
What do you want to bet that there is no letter and the MSM headlines tomorrow will be "Republicans Hiding Alito Anti-Everything Document" ?
What do you want to bet that the Democrats site their inability to get these documents and enough time to study them as reason for voting against the nomination.
PFAW? - Pshaw!
That thread is a riot. The DUmmies are too stupid to know that Teddy was just playing for time and has no 'smoking gun'.
Take out the lightbulbs and no one will see that your house isn't as clean as you would like it to be ;-)
I stepped outside for a while to listen to Rush and he said the same thing.
He played audio clips of the exchange between Kennedy and Specter. It was Hilarious!
Q - in alito's dissents on the 3rd c, hasn't the ussc sided w/ him?
The delay over Christmas did no harm. The 'Rats and their allies found nothing. If these morons want more hearings then Specter should accomodate them, because the longer these idiots are on TV the worse they look.
Did anyone talk about the tunnel they found?
Biden was born puzzled.
That makes me very troubled.
me 2
I would think it's safe to assume that Alito put it down for "full disclosure" purposes. He didn't see it as a detrement, so, he did.
IMO, it's not about power at all, it's about proper protocol in submitting requests to the committee. Kennedy assumed Spectre had received the document and decided not to include it in the proceedings, and became extremely arrogant about the fact. Then when he made threats to send the committee to a recess without proper authority to do so, Spectre asserted his authority correctly. No power play there at all.
