Notice how the thugs who shot the pope and Ronald Reagan will be freed but the criminal who shot John Lennon will be in jail for life.

Probably the reason they'll give for that is RR and the Pope lived while Lennon did not. It doesn't mean anything to me, everyone of them should have been given the death penalty.

I agree, reagan. Mark Chapman (who killed Lennon) was crazier than a loon but he never got off on insanity. As far as Hinkley, what he did to Brady, alone, should have left him in jail for life. Attempted murder is generally a life sentance. Finally, if you shoot the Pope, do you think you should ever see the light of day? Heck no. My point is that shooting a conservative seems to be forgiveable, shooting a left-wing icon...Not.

None of them ever should see the light of day in our lifetimes. Ya know?
