I agree, reagan. Mark Chapman (who killed Lennon) was crazier than a loon but he never got off on insanity. As far as Hinkley, what he did to Brady, alone, should have left him in jail for life. Attempted murder is generally a life sentance. Finally, if you shoot the Pope, do you think you should ever see the light of day? Heck no. My point is that shooting a conservative seems to be forgiveable, shooting a left-wing icon...Not.

None of them ever should see the light of day in our lifetimes. Ya know?

Or a president. Being found not guilty by reason of insanity does not mean they have to authorize furloughs for the idiot. Something doesn't seem right and it makes me wonder as well if the victim were a liberal icon would they be so lenient.
