I think if USC scores the touchdown instead of Bush throwing the ball to Texas on the lateral play, the rout would have been on.

Yes, but let's also remember that when Texas was down 31-26, Young threw a completion and USC forced the immediate fumble. The stupid and senile officals watched the replay and called it INCOMLETE. The single worst call in the NCAA all year! It was an obvious catch and fumble. No question whatsoever. Also, earlier, Young's knee was clearly down before tossing it for a TD. They didn't even bother to review it. Horrible officiating.

It has been explained to you losers 1000 times that the AP awarded a different nat'l championship.

The recongized national championship in college football since the inception of the BCS is the BCS not the AP. The AP is just a component - they can have their own national championship just like Saggarin if they want to, but it's not the real one.

If LSU had won the AP and USC had won the BCS, no one outside of Lousiana would be claiming that LSU was national champions that year.

All night tonight, we saw the blatant bias of the commentators toward USC. The media loves USC.

My kids were disgusted by the half-time crotch grabs of the USC drill team, and the constant flashing of gang signs by the USC players...it was sad.

Remember...it was the media saying inevitability...it was a tight game...best I've seen in ages.

don't know.

I think he needs another year in College to really start to learn to be a QB.

BTW, I was 4 for 4 on my picks.....although I blew the O/U on this game and the UGA/WVU game.

As a non football fan, I watched most the game. Great game, great entertainment, so much talent, great changes of fortune.

After the fantastic bowl games this year, the NFL playoffs cannot possibly measure up.

If their is any seismic activity registered in Houston, TX, tonight, that would be my Daddy rolling over in his grave at what I did tonight.

No it wasn't.

That call is an incomplete pass because there was a lack of a "football move". That's an Incomplete pass in the NFL and NCAA

Leinart just called Vince a "freakish athlete." (On ESPNNews.) Again, I ask, WTF?

That is a compliment.

'Leinart will go second overall. The Saints need a QB, and he'll fit in there.'

The man is upset enough as it is! Sheesh, give him some time to recover before telling him he'll be a Saint.

That will be too bad for the Saints. I would wait for DJ Shockley instead.
