Bill O'Reilly will be one of David Letterman's guests tonight, Tuesday, January 3, 2006.
Late Show with David Letterman
I agree! That was terrible.......
It really sounded like Letterman had his little talking points that CBS had given him. Saying that 60% of what O'Reilly says is crap? I gotta admit, I'm not a big O'Reilly fan......but he did good, when Letterman let him talk.
I just got the feeling this was an attack on talk radio......
I think we all need to fire off a letter to CBS and Letterman.....
I haven't watched Letterman in ages.....and now I remember why....what a peabrain.
I didn't knowt Letterman could be so ignorant. I've always liked him, though it's been a very long time since his show was worth watching.
Bill did horrible and Letterman is brainwashed.
Wow, you can tell through that last segment Dave was rattled (sounds sick also, all show long so far)
I just watched Letterman show his true colors tonight with O'Reilly. It made me sick to my stomach to see that. Doesn't Letterman realize he is turninng off fourty percent or more of his audience? Total left wing idiot!
Knowing his audience will back him up too. What kind of commies get tickets to DL. Letterman knew he was going to lose if he said anything of substance, he did his best crawdad with an attempted "smart-butt" cheap blow that O'R quickly pointed out for everyone to see.
Letterman is a typical liberal moron, putting his pencil in O'Reilly's coffee cup before he came out. Childish, spiteful liberal. If he had a cream pie, he probably would've tossed it at O'Reilly.
That's what I kept thinking.....what is up with Letterman? He obviously doesn't have a brain of his own anymore.
I think that was all CBS talking points......
I thought O'Reilly did good with the time he was allowed to talk.......
Fire off your emails to Letterman.....that's total BS>
Sheesh, he's from the Midwest, and has lost his brain to the Michael Moore folks...
On Fox....Miners Rescued????? Thank God!
I only caught the last of it, wife called me in and ask who Bill was, so I only caught the last of it. From what I saw, Bill made Davie Boy look like a left wing wacko. Mission accomplished.
Dave looked like a used douche. He admits he doesn't watch the show, but says "it's 60% crap." But When Bill calls him on this, Dave admits he "has read stuff" about Fox that gives him such a negative opinion of the show. (and looks like an ass in the process.) Then O'Reilly comes back and askes if he should believe everything "he reads" about Letterman. (Dave looks like a bigger ass in the process) Dave mutters some cheap shot about Cindy Sheehan, and looks...exposed.
Yea....I thought BO (not my personal fav) handled Letterman as well as he possibly could have given the ridiculous character of the venue. Anyone watching, not already predisposed to howl with adolescent delight at Letterman's warped "edginess," would have given the thing to BO on points.
BO just hung in there and kept making his case. Hurt DL bad asking how other parents would feel at Sheehan's bile.
I was stunned at the audience's overwhelming support for Letterdude's liberal tripe. O'Reilly was cool calm and colllected, no rancor at all between the two. Just logic and facts vs. feelings and opinions. O'Reilly did get some applause towards the end.
I know, I heard it, too... LOL. I didn't think to put up this thread until a few minutes before the show began though.
Letterman is SUCH an ass. And that leftist audience! Thank goodness a few people in the audience had the guts to applaud O'Reilly's comments.
I think Bill got the last word with his comment: "No way is a terrorist who blows up women and children is going to be called a "freedom fighter" on MY program." (Using Cindy Sheehan's term "freedom fighters" for terrorists in Iraq) Letterman was awfully quick to "wrap it up" with BOR at that point.
