Pamela's guardianship renewed for another six months! Please see "Scott's News" for more information. (continued at link)
http://scottsfight.com/Scott's%20News.htmJanuary 3, 2006
Today was the long-anticipated status hearing on guardianship for Scott.
The hearing took place in judge's chambers with Pamela and her attorneys and Eliza and her attorneys. Pamela presented the judge with information that she has now filed with the court to have Scott declared "partially capacitated". This means, at the very least, that he would then be allowed to indicate his preferences for his social environment, such as who is allowed to visit. He has repeatedly indicated that he does not want to see Eliza, but he does wants to see his son.
Pamela also informed the judge that, after Scott is legally determined to be "partially capacitated", they would be filing for a divorce for him. [emphasis mine]
Eliza indicated to the judge that she would fight any divorce proceedings.
The final item that Pamela presented to the judge is that Scott is scheduled for surgery to close his tracheotomy opening, which should allow him to regain his ability to speak and make sound.
Based on all the above information, Judge Wilkes ruled to grant Pamela another six months of full guardianship of Scott. This will be a crucial time for Pamela and Scott, as they continue to work, not only for Scott's recovery, but for him to regain the right and ability to truly "speak for himself".
Please continue to join us in prayer and other support for Scott and Pamela as they continue the battle for LIFE.
Hi, {{ Saundra }} -- Happy new year to you!
I'm not aware of any plans, but amdgmary will know. My garden is my ongoing Terri memorial, and it is still producing butterflies (Monarchs) despite the cold.
PVS, my foot!! It that video didn't show how alive AND responsive Terri was, nothing did. WHY, oh why, wasn't that shown to people. I e-mailed Terri's Site several times begging them to put that video on their website - they had all the others, but not this one. I think it may have helped the family's cause a little more. But, they probably were pretty tied up with being with Terri and all.
Man! What an atrocity that situation was! I miss her. I never got to meet her, but I spent an awful lot of time reading Freepers and any other article I could get my hands on, and e-mailing and calling people. All for naught. : - ( Even tho I never met her, I do miss her.
I disagree with the article stating that Pat Campbell was the cause of Terri's death. Heck, all Greer had to do was go see Terri. That was it. Just visit her. It was HIS doing that killed Terri - HE ordered it. So a lawyer made a mistake in the diagnosis - does that mean it's ok to kill the patient??? And even IF Terri was PVS, so what? Did that mean she had to die????? Unbelievable! Greer was, is, and ALWAYS be a murderer!
Terri was tortured. Maybe Greer should stop accepting awards when the truth comes out, he may be up for the death penalty per the Geneva Convention.
Here's another take on what happened to Terri. Fat chance a large segment of the population will ever forget what was done to her. The National RNC called again today. I told them what I always told them about Terri being murdered by both parties.
HERE'S A NEW OP-ED RE: TERRI: http://www.theconservativevoice.com/articles/article.html?id=11412
Re: The video you mentioned, I located the video from the Terri Blog roll. Terri has more blog rolls than any politician ever will and she's been martyred.
Terri was alert and aware, she laughed, she cried, she recognized one person from another. That's why we're all still here trying to help Scott Thomas up in Jacksonville.
This death cult must be stopped. Our politicians won't but they should give the death cult their money back..... it's blood money.
If Dr. Kevorkian is in jail, why not the clowns in black robes from the Sixth Circuit and their accomplice Judge Whittemore from the federal court in Tampa?
Senator Lindsay Grandstand bump. Alito Hearing today.
I'm gonna see if Raymond Arroyo has a cd or something. He's that good.
I have two questions:
1. Can anyone recommend an article from a newspaper or magazine (a more or less neutral source) which lays out how Michael Schiavo was no loving husband. (I would like to show it to some people who actually believe he did it for Terri). 2. What is your opinion of books about Terri: "Silent Witness" by Mark Fuhrman and "Terri's Story" by Diana Lynne?
Of course, Judge Greer ignored all affidavits because J. Greer said "the law of the case is that she will die." www.judgegeorgegreer.com (many of his mistakes and evil doing is chronicled on this web site as well as Schiavo's lawyers' take of Terri's rehab funds. Her rehab money used for lawyers to litigate her murder. How's that?
The other Schindler attorney was Pat Anderson.
TERRI NEVER WAS REPRESENTED BY COUNSEL. Her parents were but she wasn't. Judge Greer broke the law by acting as judge and guardian in fact of Terri. Judges are not allowed to act as guardian unless they are related to the ward. He wasn't. THIS WAS SO DUPLICITOUS, Judge Greer's ties to the republican party is going to hurt the gop in 2006. Fat cats killed Terri by breaking lots of little laws first to get to the point where they mandated her death by torture. Nobody stopped them.
What in the world are we coming to that a ten year old boy feels an obligation, symbolic or otherwise, to rescue another person from a horrible death and that ten year old boy gets arrested?????
The ten year old was easier to arrest than Kevorkian who managed to kill a bunch of people before he was jailed.
Jane Austin, I suggest you dig into our previous monthies which will be filled with an abundance of discussions, links, and witnesses of events. You shouldn't have to go back far in the monthlies to get a good perspective and all the sources you can imagine.
I, too, am watching for June Maxam's book to come out. Meanwhile, if you tell what you are looking in sources, documents or specifics, it would be easier to point you to the details. A cornucopia exists. You will find plenty describing lovable Mikey. I have not read Diana Lynne's book, but she has done solid reporting on Terri and on other similar cases as well, and I expect it to be good, fair reading.
Here are a couple of recent previous threads to review:

One excerpt:
Additionally, due to public record indicating that Greer did not legally qualify for office, failing to properly file his oath of office, Gov. Bush could initiate removal of Greer by filing an Executive Order with the Secretary of State declaring the office vacant.

When one is faced with the choice of whether to live or die, the instinct of survival is very strong. Even when the quality of life is minimal, the desire to live is prominent. I am thankful that my brother is cognizant and able to make that decision for himself.
This has opened up the issue of Terry Schiavo, for me all over again. Ironically, a recent column of mine also spurred the debate surrounding Schiavo. Allow me to talk about it once more, please.
Life or Death, What Would you Choose?

When I answered the phone on the afternoon of Sept. 5th, 2004, I had no idea what I was in for; that phone call changed my life forever. My son Scott was seriously hurt and being transported to the ER. I left my home immediately to join him at the hospital. While en route, when I had almost arrived, I drove up along side my son's wife, who was also headed to the ER - I waved to her to let her know that I would be there with her. The look she gave me was very unsettling - in fact it was eerie. She gave me a very cold stare as if to say, What are you doing here?
Her silence toward me in the ER waiting room only gave me more concern. From then on nothing but bizarre and unnatural behavior has been displayed by my daughter-in law, Liza. Let me tell you the story.

That was a really well laid-out article!
Perhaps Judge Greer will really see justice.
Don't forget the petition at the bottom. The article includes the email of the Governor's general counsel.

I hope that Greer gets JAIL TIME. If he lawyers up with Barry Cohen, Esq. of Tampa again, he may avoid jail time but HOUSE ARREST with his wife will be punishment. GET GREER AN ANKLE BRACELET TOO. YES!
And, GREER should be ousted from the Sixth Circuit IMMEDIATELY! Until he is, I am on course to lv the party with thousands of others still fuming over Terri's death by a republican judge in cahootz with the ACLU and a Clinton appointee J. Whittemore federal bench in TAMPA.
Everyone, WE HAVE BEEN TELLING THE TRUTH HERE all along. Jeb has had an enlightenment or maybe he talked to Rep. Dave Simmons of Orlando who has knowledge of all the judicial canons that J. Greer violated going way back up to and including the ACLU Award he received at Michael Schiavo's former employer, Agostino's Restaurant. They serve Italian there but it seems fishy to me.
MAYBE THE ACLU AWARD will end up getting GREER ON HOUSE ARREST AND OFF THE BENCH. It should but it won't. Why? Because the Fla legislature is too beholding to Greer's friends, the fat cats I've been posting about for years here.
Maybe at some point, we should break out a news activism thread but cannot have a separate thread from NCG.
We need an IMPEACH GREER PETITION thread with good placement.
Any ideas, Terri's freepers? trolls need not come forward with your suggestions.
