How awful. Scared we are going to see a big swath of charred landscape from Oklahoma to south Texas. Earlier today I saw footage of livestock in Oklahoma running for their lives. The devastation is unbelievable.

Fox is broadcasting from OKC now. The were showing local channel 9's footage on fox. Now they're going to show our Governor. Democrat who beat Steve Largent. Here he is..

They were busy dumping out all the extra bottled and canned water. At least they could have dumped it out on the fires.

This is some crazy crazy weather, either too much water or not enough. Prayers though for those in the effected areas. May God send the rain where it's needed and stop it where it's flooding.

I haven't called the cops. We're rural and I can't tell exactly where they're coming from. I don't even know if what they're doing is illegal or just stupid. There were quite a few going off last night and nobody seemed to mind. (There haven't been anymore "pops" in the last 20 minutes. Maybe somebody already jacked 'em up... or they simply ran out of firecrackers.)

I live in one of those apartments heh. Had no clue anything was going on. The wind was from the SW and the fire was to the NE so I guess the siren noise didn't make it... My sis called and said "you ARE paying attention to what is going on aren't you?" I wasn't. I was actually watching "war of the worlds" and my first thought was... well if you've seen the movie you know heh.

Wow... I work in the Dominion building up there.... live way south. But I saw that burn area today. That looked pretty darn close to the apartments...!
