It might help if we had a real ace in the press sec. slot but the truth is the rats will spew their DNC/BS almost constantly no matter what the "get GW" topic is and their left arm, the MSM, will echo it everywhere no matter what the President's Press Sec. says or does.

"I think the left is going nuts because they know dang good and well what Bubba did...."
That is what this is all about. We dared to try and impeach Bubba because he was dirty and a snake and guilty of more crimes than any modern President in US history.
So the hardcore rats will stop at nothing less than the same for GW.
problem is they have discovered GW is an honest man who says what he believes an believes what he says. that ruins their plans. That is also about as opposite of Bubba as you can get. Must really drive them nuts.
But they plod along anyway, sad souls that they are. Determined to drive their party into the "crash wall" GW has devised for them.

Henican makes me physically sick.
When he speaks it is pure leftist rot.
If he is a journalist, God help us all.
He is not worth listening too.

His smarmy, smart-a$$ed answers drive me up a wall. Someone should tell Ellis to zip it up, then smash him in the mouth to help. Now that, I would TIVO, and watch it over and over again. This guy is a jerk, and is typical of the so-called MSM!

If the Barrett Report is the tip of the iceberg in terms of how Toon used and abused the powers of his office, no wonder the Dems are going nuts. And that's all the more reason why the Barrett Report and any other info on Toon's abuses needs to see the light of day. And Congress isn't off the hook, either. They either knew what Toon did and condoned it, or were too incompetent to oversee properly. Either is an indictment of them.

I'm hearing how "heroic" the "whistle-blowers" (yes, they're using that term!!) were from lots of libs on the screaming head shows. I wish I could recall which columnist, though, said that if we lose this war, there won't BE any civil liberties. These libs don't seem to realize that this is what is at stake. If we lose, those loud-mouthed fish-wives, swishy gays, and media wh*res will be silenced, burka'ed, and in some cases, beheaded or otherwise put to death.

Had to turn Fox off this morning, Julian and Ellis in the same time frame is just too much.

When the story about DOJ investigation broke yesterday, I kept 1 eye over at DUmmieland. Everything Hennican said this morning was written by DU yesterday.I think he memorized some of the threads!

So even in a time of war, Henican views the media as the government's antagonist on national security matters. Even a blind acorn finds a squirrel from time to time.
I view the media as antagonist too, FWIW.
This is a good time to reread the Pentagon Papers case -- NEW YORK TIMES CO. v. UNITED STATES, 403 U.S. 713 (1971).

I wish I could remember who it was I saw handle this statement the following way (I think it was Cheney), but I loved it. Cheney responded something like, "Spying on whom?" The reply, "American citizens." Cheney asked, "Which American citizens," forcing the questioner to admit that it was American citizens who are in league with Al Qaeda. Asking questions like that is an excellent discussion technique. But it's not as fun as mud-slinging, name calling and general flame throwing ;-)

Absolutely right.
We need to constantly put up a barrage of Barrett/Able Danger info before the critters on a non stop basis until they finally acknowledge what traitors the rats actually are in a time of war and before with AD.

"We see another example of trying to turn the attention onto the messenger and blame the people who stood up and told Americans what they need to know" And the terrorists as well.

I will be glued to my set, on the look-out for liberal bias in the reporting of the Notre Dame vs. Ohio State Tostitos Fiesta Bowl! ;-)

That's precisely how Pinkerton replied, which was terrific.
To: MizSterious
The rats are so stupid to demagogue our spying efforts during a time of war and all the other little misdeeds they have done. Ironically, if we do get a terrorist hit, guess who will get the blame this time? It won't be us.

The American left first and foremost believe they won the contest to eliminate war forever when they forced the withdrawal from Vietnam.
To admit another war is to admit the leftistis cause lost.

FDR sent all the Japanese Americans to interment camps for the duration of the war ... - with the help and support of Congress
- only those that were located near the West Coast
Since the petitioner has not been convicted of failing to report or to remain in an assembly or relocation center, we cannot in this case determine the validity of those separate provisions of the order. It is sufficient here for us to pass upon the order which petitioner violated. To do more would be to go beyond the issues raised, and to decide momentous questions not contained within the framework of the pleadings or the evidence in this case. It will be time enough to decide the serious constitutional issues which petitioner seeks to raise when an assembly or relocation order is applied or is certain to be applied to him, and we have its terms before us. Toyosaburo Korematsu v. United States, 323 US 214 (1944)
The issue of internment was confronted in
Ex parte Endo, 323 US 283 (1944).
Korematsu's conviction was later overturned - see brief discussion at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1547700/posts?page=486#486.

Where is the media outrage over the suppression of the Barrett report? Their mantra of the people have a right to know peters out on this one.
