Good thing he's not crazy.
Why is this POS still alive?
"His doctors have said his depression and psychosis are in full remission".
Maybe the guy who shot John Lennon needs to contact the good Dr.?
Please, don't no one tell him that Chuck Schumer has been tagging Jodie Foster.
Why don't you ever call John?
I think about you all the time John.
John, there's something I want you to do for me...
I hope he "gets the rabbit in him", gets picked up within an hour and there's an end put to this foolishness...
How come the brady b!tch is not complaining about this?
Oh, that's right it was the GUN that shot her husband not hinckley- how stupid of me.
Great. Now we can employ another six or seven Secret Service Agents to tail him while he's out while we still maintain a bed and staff in the asylum for his return from his visits. Glad his parents get to see him no matter the expense and risk to others. /sarc
More liberal judges means more nut cases out for a party!
Lord, forgive me, but... ,,|,,
At this stage and given his compliance with the conditions of shorter term releases, there is nothing inappropriate about these new restrictions.
For the past ten years, John Hinckley has dated Leslie deVeau, whom he met when she too was a mental patient at St. Elizabeth's. The couple takes daily walks, often lunch together, and share a mutual love of books. According to John's mother, Leslie "handles so many of John's problems. She's just been our angel." But deVeau is hardly an angel. While deVeau is a former social worker who currently works at St. Elizabeth's hospital aiding outpatient recovery, in 1982 she shot and killed her ten-yer-old daughter. Distraught, deVeau then attempted to commit suicide by shooting herself in the left shoulder. Her left arm, however, suffered massive injuries and was amputated. Like John, deVeau pled insanity at her trial and the jury adjudged her not guilty by reason of insanity. She was released after spending four years at St. Elizabeth's. As of 1998, Leslie and John have been dating for ten years.
Can I pay him a visit?
Isn't that special.
One tiny point: Hinkley's parents are elderly, how in the world could they control him if he wigged out and decided to shoot someone again? I don't believe for one minute that he's no longer nuts. This granting of four or five overnight stays at home or wherever with a parent around to hold his leash is nonsense.
Hinkley takes meds to alleviate his depression (the cause of all his problems...he's a Victim! But he's all better now!) What if he decides not to take his pills? If his aim has improved and he kills someone this time, we'll be told there's only so much modern medicine can do, and that he squirreled his pills under his pillow because he didn't like the way they made him feel. I don't believe in this 'closely monitored by the psychiatric facilty' line. They added that to cover their collective you-know-what's.
