My sister called from Tahoe last night; the roads were impassable with a second major storm due in tonight. My mother was hospitalized there at Washoe Medical yesterday but they couldn't transport her to Reno because of the weather.
She was taken down the mountain early this morning between storms for what turned out to be at least a triple bypass if not a quad. Im told she's doing well... more to follow when I hear back from my sister.
Today is our wedding anniversary but we're just sitting on our butts because we're both sick.

I hope your mother is doing well, now, and that her surgery is successful, and that she heals quickly.

And do you have that "California Flu" that has beenwiping out AZ, UT, and ID? It's a nasty one. I hope you are both feeling better soon!
