LONG LIVE RED CHINA (Would you like your troll mein with soft or crispy noodles?)

China will never go down, and don't think you can banish communism. Because the people won't let it. They know they are the last standing, they are the only ones left. America is in a decline while China's climaxing, America will go down. We are just done with our prime, if anything, we were going into a depression since 1992 (and don't say you don't know that year). Communism is the American's medias' worst nightmare, because of censorship. I hope we all have to read one newspaper and wipe my butt with one brand of tiolet paper. I hope we all die for our next generations to wear the red armband. We deserved 9/11, and they enjoyed it. You probably hate me now, I know, you just still think like its 1945, well too bad its 2005. We only stand to fall.

He's never met his dad. He's talked to him on the phone, but never face-to-face.

I habit of underestimating the mind of a cat - I guess comparing cats to dogs in terms of brain power isn't a useful comparison as their natures are different.

"... if you get OUT of the gravity well the problem becomes distance NOT propulsion?"

Correct. Any push will send you an infinite distance, but it will take you an infinity to get there.

Interstellar travel has two problems. Distance is one of them.

The other is the fact that once you get up to speed, you have to work just as hard to slow down.

Our rockets are virtually useless. There isn't any way to carry enough reaction mass to get a proper speed.

My plan at present is to use synchrotrons to accelerate very small amounts of matter to absolutely enormous velocities as a proplusion system. We would lose little mass, and should have sufficient power to do it that way, but the thrust will be fairly low, and the acceleration will take quite a while to build up.

I have to start my trip now. I'll talk to y'all when I get a chance.

Yes, it requires a vote of Congress and then approval by a majority of the state legislatures. Kind of a mess!

"Ah, sad but all too common in this life."

I used to work for the district attorney's office in the child support enforcement department. I know very well how common it is. And oddly enough, some women are much better than men at avoiding child support. (But don't get me started on THAT!!!)

Does the electorate have a say? Do they vote in referenda to change state constitutions?
