LONG LIVE RED CHINA (Would you like your troll mein with soft or crispy noodles?)

China will never go down, and don't think you can banish communism. Because the people won't let it. They know they are the last standing, they are the only ones left. America is in a decline while China's climaxing, America will go down. We are just done with our prime, if anything, we were going into a depression since 1992 (and don't say you don't know that year). Communism is the American's medias' worst nightmare, because of censorship. I hope we all have to read one newspaper and wipe my butt with one brand of tiolet paper. I hope we all die for our next generations to wear the red armband. We deserved 9/11, and they enjoyed it. You probably hate me now, I know, you just still think like its 1945, well too bad its 2005. We only stand to fall.

It reminds me of the Eddie Bannister story....

Yah...I get the "lead" thing...I was raised in the High Desert, and EVERYone had a rifle or handgun, and they were just part of growing up. One couldn't very well hit rabbits if one didn't know how to "lead." My dad had my sister and I out in the west desert with a rifle when I was eight years old. Or maybe seven...

I'm sure, if your aim is good, you can put an eye out.

That's what I thought.

He has to think you're unarmed, first...

That's the thing - DETERRENT!!!

I'm 550 miles +/- from Vegas, and I'm anxious to get there...not anxious enough to fly, because that would mean I would have to get off the plane at McCarran IA, and the cigarette smoke there is enough to do me in.

But I'm anxious to see my grandkids. My grandson (18) will be in the army as soon as he graduates...

Yep! We're getting "there!"

I'm taling them with me, so they get to meet their "cousins"...an old mom cat and a hyper rat terrier dog. This is going to be fun...the house is so big, I may never find them to bring them home...

Good to see the States on the right track!

Our society is willing to tolerate a level of violence that would shock most Europeans however the level of violence is somewhat misrepresented in what I have seen in the European press. Not really fair to compare the USA as a whole when we have states bigger then most European Countries. However, I suspect Europe is going to learn some stiff lessons as the illegal immigration problem expands. Little bit tougher to manage a multicultureal, muliracial political body. However, we seem to be learning the proper lessons From Europe TOUGH enforcement of gun violence laws was one thing the USA was slow to adopt because of Domestic political games. The Democrat Party spent most of the 1960-70s convincing voters tough on crime was racist. Slow to overcome that mindset.

Yeah but I would take the short sword or even a knife against a battle ax any day. You need too much room to swing and while you are raising it you are totally open to a rush and stab.

Anything you can jab will beat something that you swing in one on one hand to hand.

My daughter has a collection of swords. Some are longer than she is tall. Others are short. But I don't think she knows what to do with any of them... I don't think the navy used swords in Basic...

I saw a thing on "Save Our History" today about preserving the original space capsules, boots, suits and even Mission Control. We have more technology in our cell phones than NASA did in our first space flights....food for thought...:o]

That is the other thing. But I bet a Society for Creative Anachronism could teach her.

"Heisenberg principal of planetary uncertainty?"

No. Orbital mechanics is pretty well worked out. Planetary movements can be predicted years in advance.

There are some variables to our maneuvers. For instance, it can be difficult to predict exactly how much speed and direction change we will pick up in this flyby maneuver, but we always err on the side of safety.

We will certainly get out to the orbit of Mars, ahead of its arrival. Then, we would just need to station-keep for a bit if necessary. Even that should not be needed, though, because once we are past the Moon again, we will be able to calculate the present unknowns, and make mid-course corrections if needed.

Europeans however the level of violence is somewhat misrepresented in what I have seen in the European press.

There is a huge discrepency in what the Irish media tell us, and what FRiends tell me here - there is a deliberate misrepresentation of America by the European media.

However, I suspect Europe is going to learn some stiff lessons as the illegal immigration problem expands.

Oh yeah!! Ireland's immigration problem is new in comparison to the rest of Europe, but no political will to stop it before it gets any worse!!

The Danes and the Dutch are learning stiff lessons, but it may be too late for them.
