We've always had Cub Scouts come around and pick up trees for a $5 donation, but they didn't this year. I wonder why...?
We didn't dare put up a tree this year, the kittens would have had a field day. They're slinky little climbers, with a full set of climbing claws, and would really need to see what the view would be from the top.
I can see them now, leaping down on Tomas from above..."KOWABUNGA!"

Maybe your city is picking them up, too? Last year the city didn't pick up at all, so I figured the boys could make some money cutting trees up this year ... but the city beat us out!
Maybe your cats will have settled down next year.

They can dream on.
We've already set foot on Mars and heading for Venus.
I hear women reign supreme on Venus.

"Ain't you HOT?"
So she says.
I didn't even know I had the 2200 - you just reminded me.
Notice that I also got the 2299. Me thinks 2299 has magic properties. I'll see if I can construct a magic square out of it.

Hey, kids!
The problem was the starter. My nephew has one he can put in, but I need to get the truck to him. We're going to try that tomorrow...

Nope...the truck won't start, so I'm biding my time. With luck, next week I'll head for Vegas.

"It's like losing a pet..."
I know exactly what you mean.
I always owned dogs, my favorites pets. Last year my cockatiel died in my hands and felt as if a loved one had died, not exactly, but you know what I mean. I had him for 12 years was very attached to him. I now have 2 parakeets that I'm trying to hatch and my father wants me to let them loose out the window.
Never been fond of cats though. We used to own a cat, but she was wild and would scratch. This experience maybe be the reason I don't own a cat. I got enough room here in the basement and in the yard for a domestic zoo and am looking to buy a beagle, but they're very expensive though.
PS: sorry for the delay in responding.
