Hope you're mobile again soon! I had to replace a starter last year; it broke off and rattled around in the engine, very distressing!

"My nephew has one, (a starter), he can put in, but I need to get the truck to him." Well, 'Face, you only need to get it started one more time, then don't shut it off. You should be able to make forty miles without needing to do that.
As far as getting it started, you might need a hill, or a push.
