It is HIS plane, after all.

Actually it's not his per se. It's ours and I believe it's run by the United States Air Force. However they are operating it for the use of the Vice President of the United States, not a bunch of blood sucking seditious and even traitorous whiners.

The only thing I find disturbing is the notion that Air Force II would only have a few working power outlets. What of the vaunted maintenance of the 89th Military Airlift Wing?

It's a shame that they can't "accidently" throw them out over the Atlantic

Agreed all around.

They ought to start serving MREs to the reporters.

Anyone know if the reporters or their organizations reimburse the Taxpayers for the cost of their flight and food? I'll bet not. If I'm right, this looks like a wonderful place to save a few bucks from the military budget, and move them where they are needed, buying beans and bullets for the troops.

Since it is his plane, the vice president's iPod took priority and was plugged into one of the only working power outlets on Air Force Two, frustrating reporters who were trying to file stories

hehehehe

They do nothing but whine. They whined when they couldn't pin Newt down for interviews on a flight one time.

All of this moaning only goes in one direction.

These reporterettes should have gotten a spanking and sent straight to bed without any dinner. And if there was any justice in the world, Cheney would have been the one to adminster the spanking.

Well that might be going a bit far. But they could make an "emergency departure" out of some third world hell hole, with no time to board the press. Maybe just a training exercise, in case they really do need to get the VP to his "undisclosed location" in one hell of a hurry.

OSD Public Affairs bills the media for the reporters travel per DoD Directive 5122.8.

Could you point out which paragraph says that? I can't seem to find it.

What I want to know is why, as the article implies, are there non-working outlets on Cheney's plane? Security? Or maintenance problems?

If Cheney was aboard Air Force 002, I would bet their were NO non working outlets. Just Bravo Sierra from the MSM maggots.

The fact that those reporters are even *on* Air Force 2,
is only at the invitation and the courtesy of the Vice President.

I just love when he takes on the MSM in full public view - I want more of this! The MSM doesn't stand a chance - they are such self-righteous morons.

What a spoiled child. I guess the VP's comfort should be interrupted so the almighty "reporters" can continue with their work. I can't believe ABC published this story, their hatred blinds them. I wish I could find a picture of Karen Travers

See post #59 and #67.

(3) It would never, ever, ever occur to me to whine about such a problem to anyone, never mind publish it to the world as a whiny snivelling tearful account of how mean the VP and his staff must be...... are reporters like this lacking in ALL elementary decency and humanity, or are they merely narcissistic stooges who think the VP of the USA should accommodate himself to their every whim?

I think this goes on the loony left's list of impeachable offenses. That list is really growing as of late . . .
