Rush Limbaugh: Al Franken Is a 'Parasite
President Bush's Approval Rating Jumps Rush Limbaugh: Al Franken Is a 'Parasite' Jeb Bush Bans Lobbyist Gifts for Fla. Pols GOP Jews Back Santorum on Iran
Americas top radio host Rush Limbaugh lavished high praise on Peter Schweizers new book "Do As I Say (Not As I Do): Profiles in Liberal Hypocrisy during a lengthy conversation with the author published in Rushs own publication The Limbaugh Letter.
In his blockbuster book which reached the No. 1 spot on Amazon.coms list of best-selling nonfiction works Hoover Fellow Schweizer reveals the glaring contradictions between the public stances and real-life behavior of prominent liberals. Rush told Schweizer he had an amazing reaction to the book.
"When I went through your book, I had so many emotional reactions, like, Yeah! and Why hasnt anybody done this before? I want to congratulate you for reaching No. 1. Are you surprised its taken off as it has?
Said Schweizer: "A little bit. But people are outraged when they find out how blatant the hypocrisy is.
Discussing the liberal hypocrisy disclosed in Schweizers book, radios most listened to talker said: "The Democrats cannot advance an agenda; liberals dont have an agenda they want to be honest about. So for much of my adult life theyve tried to impugn and discredit their critics, using hypocrisy as an argument.

"Theyve said Ive never served in the military, so how can I be so pro-military? My response has always been, we all have personal failings, and just because Ive had some, that doesnt change what the truth is. Now, youre trying that approach yourself.
Said Schweizer: "Youre right; we all struggle with hypocrisy. Its part of the human condition.
"I think theres a huge difference between conservative hypocrisy and liberal hypocrisy. When we conservatives are hypocrites and abandon our principles, we end up hurting ourselves But ironically, liberal ideas are so bad that when liberals abandon their principles and become hypocrites, they actually improve their lives.
After mentioning a possible liberal backlash against "Do As I Say from booksellers, Rush disclosed that "when my two books came out, bookstore employees put them in the fiction section, in the cooking section . . . Have you heard any stories like that?
Schweizer answered: "There are a few blogger stories about people going into bookstores and not being able to find copies and being frustrated.
Rush asked Schweizer who took two years to research his book how he uncovered his eyebrow-raising information.
"Let me say first off that none of this was obtained illegally or unethically, the author explained.
"I didnt do any dumpster diving, and I didnt go through anybodys mail. I simply made use of public databases.
"For example, I discovered that Michael Moore and his wife had set up a tax shelter where they were sheltering some of their assets, and they were required to file a Form 990-PF to obtain and maintain that tax status. I learned from the IRS that you can obtain those documents legally. So I went about acquiring them.
Schweizer reveals in his book that corporation-basher Moore, who has said he doesnt own a single share of stock, actually owns tens of thousands of shares through his foundation.
Among the other highlights of Rushs conversation with the author:
Schweizer: "Over the last 40 years, there have been precious few new ideas on the left. Theyre simply recycling speeches from the 1930s and 1940s.
Rush: "Al Franken in the course of his career, over the last 12 years, has hired 115 people. Only one of them black. Barbra Streisand laments the way labor unions are treated in this country, yet gets all of her movies produced in Canada.
Schweizer: "Of all the people I profiled, [Moores] case of hypocrisy regarding the stock market is probably the most pathological.
Rush: "Frankens a parasite, among other things. If it werent for other peoples names he puts on the cover of his books, they wouldnt sell. Just like his movies dont sell.
Schweizer: "The conservative philosophy is on the ascendance. It is, in a sense, the major philosophy in America today.
Rush: "[Liberals] are in deep trouble I will bet, Peter, that youll have a chance to write volumes two and three, as more people will open up and tell you things . . .
"Youre doing the Lords work. Congratulations on the book.
Amen to that.
Rush is being too kind. Franken is a scrofulous, talentless loser.

Now there's a good word!
I think I heard a snippet of this guy on Hannity's show today talking about Striesand and her $20,000.00 per MONTH water bill.
Yeah, I had to look it up, but it was worth coming to this thread just to learn that one!
Wow it takes that much to keep that old chamois hydrated or is that what it takes for Brolin to clean up with after the nasty
"blockbuster book"
Never has a publication overused two words as often as NEWSMAX uses Blockbuster book. They appear to have a formula. Any book is a blockbuster If they happen to mention it, or profit from it. Secondly, a mention of Hillary in any story builds viewership.

Diva Democracy
Bill Clinton takes her calls. So isn't it time to take her politics seriously? Fresh from the set of her new movie, The Mirror Has Two Faces, Barbra Streisand tells Jack Newfield about her political journey from a close encounter with her late father to her intimate bond with the first family.
In the cozy sitting room of her sprawling, antique-filled Los Angeles home, Barbra Streisand and I are arguing about the Republican-drafted welfare reform bill that President Clinton signed. We're entering the fifth round. "It creates no jobs and hurts the poor," I say. Clinton will add a job component later, she retaliates, forever defending the President. We're both trying to stay polite, respecting the conventions of the muckraker-meets-diva interview. (As a self-described Robert Kennedy-Bruce Springsteen populist, I was one of the few journalists Streisand would agree to talk with.) "This bill will create a million new poor people," I insist. Exasperated, the superstar gets up and disappears into another room. She returns with a thick folder, which I notice contains faxes from the White House. This is Barbra Streisand's "welfare bill" file. So it's true: Funny Girl has become Serious Woman. Yentl has turned policy wonk.

sounds like scrotum tofu
Yeah, and two-thirds of it is probably for her bidet!
"show today talking about Striesand and her $20,000.00 per MONTH water bill"
I'm pretty sure it is $22,000 per year, and she has a 12,000 sq. ft air-conditioned barn.
"Al Franken is a parasite" Once again, RUSH IS RIGHT!
"Rush is being too kind. Franken is a scrofulous, talentless loser."
Not only that but he is also a squamulous laggard.
