If Fortress forecloses, now or in the future, it can sell Jackson's assets to recover the debt. Who would want to buy that den of depravity?

his share of the Sony Beatles music catalogI'd be very happy if McCartney bought it back... on the cheap.
It was blasphemy to have it in the hands of The Pervert.

I can understand why they would grant the extension, but at what risk? Are they guaranteed 6 months of payments?
Anyways, Jacko didn't leave the country just to get away from the families that he assaulted but I also think he is trying to distance himself from his financial obligations.
He's always talking about how he missed out on his childhood, that's why he is the way he is, so that sort of explains why he is so immature and irresponsible.

Jackson, who has been lying low on a visit to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates in recent weeks, has refused to speak to concerned family members who have reached out to him His jaw, replaced with a titanium prosthetic during a facial enhancement surgery in 1996, had fallen off, and was being held on his face by duct tape, limiting his speech to a series of grunts and high-pitched squeals.

Several frantic Jackson family members, worried about the singer's state of mind their gravy train, were planning to head to Bahrain, where the pop star had been staying with that country's royal family since last summer, to stage an emergency "intervention."

The deal would involve "several" benefactors agreeing to make the monthly payments on Jackson's $272 million loan package at a whopping 9.5% interest rate - which comes to more than $2 million a month.Who the hell would be dumb enough to throw $2 million per month into this perverted freak's sinking ship?
