Thats the entire reason why the program was leaked to the press! Ugh!
The dumb reporter asks if he's going to talk to Congress about the program? How would she even know there was a program...if Congress hadn't leaked it!!!

Question: Why did you avoid using FISA since they almost always grant wiretaps and act secretly?
Pres: Need quick action. We do use FISA. WIthout revealing details of program that we have authority to do this and it's taking into account your civil liberties.

Are these reporters really that dense or do they just play dense on TV?They just show up to these press conferences with DNC talking points, and questions they themselves put down on paper days in advance.
It's like this business about the spy program and whether or not he's going to tell Congress about it. Waste of fricken time. If Congress and the media don't know about it already, they're the only two "bodies" that don't.
