What are your three favorite Christmas Movies of all time?
Me, I'm going with:
3. A Christmas Carol (staring Patrick Stewart, 1999)
2. A Very Brady Christmas (yes I'm serious)
1. It's A Wonderful Life (one of the finest films of all time)

Is A Garfield Christmas playing on tv anywhere? I grew up on that one, along with Charlie Brown (am younger).
Doesn't matter, I got a copy anyway.

I'm sorry, I do not like to see adaptations of Dr Seuss novels where the Mayor of Whooville's wife has the hots for The Grinch.

In 1976 an animated TV version of A Christmas Carol was made. It premiered as a TV special, but was thought to be so excellent that it was released theatrically and pronounced eligible for Oscar consideration.
Alastair Sim and Michael Hordern reprise their roles as Scrooge and Marley from the classic British film version of Scrooge (1951).
The only film version of "A Christmas Carol" to win an Oscar.
