THIS WEEK (ABC): Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa.; Hadley; New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Hadley; Sens. Joseph Biden, D-Del., and Richard Lugar, R-Ind.; Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari.
It was a special on Fox last night with Greg Palkot going all over Iraq, talking to the (gasp) Iraqi people...to find out their feelings about the war..and Americans being there...
It was amazing...and it told a much different story than anything else I have read or heard about the conditions in Iraq..as well as the attitude of the Iraqis...
NOW..granted in Baghdad, it is different and other places in the Sunni Triangle, perhaps...but, Iraq is a big country.
They have exponentially more access to the world now than they had before...by TV, internet, movies...it was truly terrific.
THAT is why I proposed that all congresscritters not only HAVE to watch it...but comment on it..especially the dems, and answer any questions about whether it has been worth going there...and worth still being there.
Post mark. Got to go home now. Must sleep. Got to come back and do it all again tomorrow. See ya later Fantastic Freepers!
no disrespect meant.....but is beer still served at room temp over there?
McLame is a fool on his new LAW against torture. See The truth about torture for a different perspective than McLame's.
I could be wrong, but I think they are not back in business until Tuesday in both the House and Senate, so the Republic is safe until then.
Good night Johnnie..we will miss you this evening!!!
I liked the part where people were packing what looked like an ice cream parlor at night. Some would have us believe the Iraqis are hiding away at night in fear. Yet, here were hundreds of people out socializing and eating sweets.
Yeah. It was a good program.
DANG! I can't believe I missed that!!
Oh...thanks for letting me know..I have gotten out of the habit of looking at c-span's schedule...
Good, I have a busy day tomorrow...but, I swear Bahbah, you know that Reid is going to have a laundry list of complaints...and I am sure that topping the list will be the so-called "propaganda" scandal...
I highly doubt he will be getting up to cheer the economy!
BTW...what do you make of Joe Wilson, basically making a U-turn on the Iraq War??
LOL--thanks
I LOVE THAT SITE!
LOL!
I kept thinking about that movie..with the "yutes" part, when those idiots were burning cars in France...
They were described as "just youths"...riiiiiiiiight.
I don't have a clue. There were some interesting theories on the thread, but nothing that made me say Eureka!
One thing is for sure...this guy has GOT to be put under oath..before any more charges, for anything, gets filed.
LOL!!!
RIGHT!
Ritzgerald has carte blanc with his investigation. If he ignores Plame and Wilson, I think it will be a serious indication that the whole investigation is suspect.
That's Fitzgerald of course. I have to stop this hit and run posting.
