LATE EDITION (CNN) : Hadley; Sens. Joseph Biden, D-Del., and Richard Lugar, R-Ind.; Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari.
Good movie...I had forgotten that part though...lol
BRAVO!
Very good idea. Going to spend more time posting the good news, less time talking about it in the future. Post the good news. We have to do it to counter those "on our side" who spend hours posting nothing but negative crap. Gold Medal of Valor to Sand Rat who posts dozens of stories from Iraq daily. He is still serving the cause every day. His stuff should be required reading for all "objective journalists".
Well, it would be in sunny California...and I hear ya'll have been getting hit pretty hard...snow wise.
Yes, we have snow and cold. But, at least we are not in California. Not to blame the whole state for the few nuts there, but there are more nuts in CA than conservatives.
I wish that tomorrow...when the Senate gavels in...and when the House gavels in...
That all of the congresscritters are told to sit down, the lights go down...and the Majority leaders show that special on Fox the other night...
THEN, afterwards, just turn to the dems..and ask, "Any questions?"
Yeah, but a LOT of them have 2nd or 3rd homes in COLORADO....hehe
Agreed. That would be great! Wish I had taped it in a way. But, I'll bet the viewers response to the program will stimulate them to do more of that.
Why thank you. Hopefully no lasting damage? I would love to have a change to actually say to Carl "The Conqueror" Levin..... "Using our leverage Senator? Sounds like you are advocating Imperialism Senator."
Be loads of laughs to watch his face turn blue and him fall over on the floor twitching in anger in response. NOW THERE is a Consummation, DEVOUTELY to be wished for!
True. LOL One of our biggest problems is people from CA trying to drive on snow and ice. Few of them realize a four wheel drive vehicle may go great but does no better in stopping than any other vehicle. Result? Skidding and sliding all over the place. One can almost hear the prayers for salvation coming out of their vehicles.
For the chance to bum rush Sam Donaldson out the White House front door on National TV screaming "Out with the rest of the trash with you boyo! Put David "The Sissy"{ Gerggory in a head lock while slapping the top of his head yelling "Why! ARE! YOU! SUCH! A! MORON! To pepper spray Whiney Helen? Heck ya, you don't even have to PAY me!
THEN, afterwards, just turn to the dems..and ask, "Any questions?"
Txsleuth for Senate Majority Leader!!!!
DANG!
I must have missed that special... what special??
Good post and analysis. There's not a single thing in it I disagree with, and I've given pretty much the same explanations to others when I can find someone interested enough to listen. My other posts in this thread are mainly geared towards developing a strategy to reach the huge segment of the population whose attention can only be gotten through a visceral, emotionally entertaining approach. Our positions are not in opposition, but rather complimentary.
Are they perhaps suggesting that tax payers pick up part of the tab of operating this "strong watchdog journalism" ?
Agreed. I do the same thing you're doing.
It did get over 400 replies, despite or because of the line-up on the shows. I don't even get to watch the rerun of FNS.
AAaaahhhhhhhhh
Enjoy the event. Doubtt there will be many more, but I agree with you. Good posts today.
"I must have missed that special... what special??"
You have to get a copy....it is a Fox News Special on Iraq. The reporter spent six weeks traveling from one end of the country to the other interviewing Iraqis....it was so good, the best news that's gotten out in a long time....you'll see:
the Iraqi stock exchange
a resort in the Kurds area
a tv guy whose hand had been cut off by saddamn & who now is relishing putting out TRUE stories.....oh, and a beautiful tribute to a Lt. Col who was later one of our KIA Heroes.....and a wedding....there eeevil, is that enough to whet your appetite?
