Kidnappers Threaten to Kill Iraq Activists

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Al-Jazeera television broadcast a videotape Friday in which kidnappers of four Christian peace activists threatened to kill their hostages unless all prisoners in U.S. and Iraqi detention centers are released. The kidnappers gave the two governments until Dec. 8 to meet their demands, Al-Jazeera quoted a statement delivered with the tape as saying.
The tape showed what the broadcaster said were two Canadian hostages. An American and a Briton are also being held. All four appeared frightened.
The Canadians were shown eating from plates of what appeared to be Arabic sweets. In a second clip, the British and American hostages were shown to talking to the camera but no audio was transmitted.
The two were calling on the U.S. and British governments to withdraw from Iraq, Al-Jazeera reported, quoting a statement from the kidnappers, who earlier identified themselves as the Swords of Righteousness Brigade

yes, They will kill other Muslims in the name of Allah if they convert to any other religion. The ones on their side are not Muslim. They give non-Muslims three choices, convert, subjugate, or die. That is current and up to date as of 2005 as it was in Muh's.day. I learned about these people while in Saudi and Kosovo.....Read about them and you will find on your own their true nature. I was in Saudi from 1996 to 1999. In 1994, three internationals were on "death row" for distributing Bibles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Only by intervention by the Philipine government and much "negotions" were their lives spared.....

I have to agree with you. Celebrating the rape and murder of five nuns in El Salvador by a death squad is hardly Christian.

You are right.....Islam is NOT a peaceful religion. The Koran is full of contradictions. Why? to cover whatever situation fits at the time. The Muslim doctrine since the beginning........and is valid today, give Christians or any non-Muslim three choices. They are .... Well, my response to that boy's words, he can kiss my red bloodied American buttocks...and clean the toe jam from my toes. If I want to say the the Bible is full of lies; I can...If I want to say that Jesus has ugly hair and is a fake; I can. If I want to say that Muhammand loves goats; I can......But it seems that anyone that talks against the Koran, tends to get killed. If you go to any other country to live, ALL want you to speak their language. If you ever been to Greece......:)) Watch what happens when a foreigner complains down there about no one speaking English......They'll change your mind quickly....learn to Speak Greek if you are going to live here or leave.....We have never asked anyone to accept our religion. Noted, look at the Mosques being built in Chicago, Pa, even in N.C. JUST DON"T CHANGE MINE.......OR RESTRICT MY PRACTICE. that is the problem. If they see the Bible in court houses then so what........they don't have to look. If we pray in Schools, then Muslims can face Mecca and do your own praying. Otherwise, they need to accept America and all the other immigrants, including my immigrant status....(Scotch, Irish and English from 1773). They have their own cultural festivals etc.....My message to them, JUST DON"T CHANGE MINE..........to make you comfortable. . . .that the kidnappers have a softening of their already good hearts - and release these hostages. . .or are they praying that these folks will be rescued by our good soldiers.
OR. . .maybe the prayer is that our good President, will intercede on their behalf. . .
