Sad day when our nation's heros feel it best to cheat, especially when you don't have to. At the same time, I know he had a bone to pick with Washington, over the motivations and horrid management of the VN War. You never know.

Be prepared for a new barrage of "culture of corruption" 24/7.
This will come from such "clean gov." reps like Rahm (what Streets and San workers?) Emanuel, Jan (I didnt know my husband was a crook) Shakowski (sp) and Jesse ( what bud beer distributorship shakedown) Jackson Jr.
I am getting nervous about what will happen when the Noe case develops in Ohio.
We have some serious problems in '06 Speaker Pelosi anyone??? Majority Leader Reid?? God help us.

Another good man letting greed take hold. A damn shame. I don't know if he has already resigned but if he hasn't, he will. Very dissappointing. Now he will be remembered for this rather than his honorable and heroic service in Vietnam.
SAD!!

..bad health, who knows what events led up to turning left instead of turning right on what was clearly a deal with impropriety written all over it.
Wrong as this is, this still doesn't measure up to the shenanigans of say Barney Frank or Ted Kennedy.

Wasn't this guy a fighter pilot and war hero?
Doesn't that make him untouchable?
Think "Murtha", whose treason doesn't get a pass from me, even under the " drooling, dazed-and-confused senility" defense.

Randy was a guest speaker for a Manila based US naval organiztion in 1983. Showed 'first hand' cockpit dogfight video taken from Isreali a/c vs Syrian MIGs. Duke was a great pilot, scuba parnter and friend to all of us. He has served his nation honorably for many years.

Duke Cunnigham pleads guilty to felony. It is indeed a tragedy how such a patriot could have become so corrupt.
When's the special election to replace him? Hopefully a conservative Republican can get 50% in the primary so that we can avoid having to wait a couple of months for a run-off. I'd hate a repeat of what happened in Cox's CD when Gilchrist kept Campbell from getting the extra 4% he needed for a majority, which would have allowed Campbell to get sworn in immediately instead of having to wait 2 months during which time his district has gone unrepresented.
