Missile Attack On Passenger Jet?

I heard on the radio this morning, that a pilot of a passenger jet departing LAX claimed to have narrowly avoided being hit by a missile. It was reported that the jet was about 6,000 feet in altitude & over the ocean when the event occurred. The news report further stated that authorities believe it was possibly a flare or a "bottle rocket."

I googled but found nothing. Anyone else have some info on this? I dont recall whether it was CBS or NBC radio news.

If the Gomers do happen to down an airliner the government will of course crack down on the American people instead of closing the borders and deporting all the un-desirables that are here.

I should have used a capital letter on News. I meant a newscast that had also been heard by a caller.

I do not know where this is all going and am skeptical as most of us are. I do wonder why the information is so hard to obtain, however.

New theory

It may have been an actual missile .... fired from a US Naval vessel and aimed at a target on the China Lake Firing Range.

Tonight once again, I googled the story and finally found it listed on Philadelphia's KYW Newsradio. At first glance I couldn't find the story on their site so I pulled up the cached story and then found another one. They are both below.

He told them a missile had been fired at the aircraft and missed. The plane was over water when the pilot said he saw a smoke trail pass by the cockpit. FBI agents believe it was a flare or a bottle rocket, but say they may never know if that's what it actually was.

C2C regularly has different people on the show who make predictions based on premonitions......the person he was talking about had predicted some type of event on November 29th.

NO. regarding your inquiry...not callers.

Guests are known people with reputations(LOL) in their various fields.

All sorts of people including UFO experts and spirit contacts(ghost busters)(LOL)...etc. are guests on the show over many years and previously and still on weekends with Art Bell as host.

They arent test firing anything in the LAX pattern....I thought that test was down out in Mojave Airport.

Clear Channel I think.

Lasts 3 or 4 hours and begins with an hour of re-play I think...

While sometimes on the computer or just sewing I listen.
